I have used Giddens for so many things over the years but the last time I needed them right before the Christmas party I was hosting on a Friday, they came over with the proper parts I had identified and not only did major troubleshooting on one of these complicated new KitchenAid fridges, but they followed up a few days later to ensure it worked.The technician, who happened to be a co-owner, got my ice-maker up and running that day and for a very fair and reasonable price. Happy to recommend them.I remembered to write this review now that I need them because my washing machine overflowed now.Thanks to the Giddens staff.

We came to Giddens looking for a part for our washing machine. They were very knowledgeable and helpful and when they didn’t have the part in stock they actually called their competitor for me to inquire if they had the part available. Wow….that is above and beyond service!

Awesome repair man. Polite, friendly, came prepared with correct parts and is extremely experienced. Fixed our old Maytag no problem!! Saved us a bunch of money for a new machine. Thank you Eddie!!

Excellent repair man. He was polite, friendly, professional, and very experienced. Eddie quickly found the problem and repaired it on the spot. This saved us from having to purchase a new controller board. Great service!

I am very disappointed with this outfit. After dropping off a home stereo system for diagnosis of a no sound" issue followed by a request to fix the blown centre channel (which I've had fixed once before) I was given back my system without repair. They cited that it would cost too much to repair. This unfortunately took them ten months to conclude. It was poor communication during that time and I had to initiate most calls of inquiry. I can't speak to their abilities to repair appliances but I will certainly be hesitant to recommend them for stereo repairs. The worst part was the lack of customer service with my circumstances."

Have dealt with Giddens in the past and was pleased with the service. Howevet, I called recently to have the dishwasher looked at only to find out they only work on them at the shop. I was not prepared to remove and transport a dishwasher. Seems like an odd request to have the customer being in the appliance

I have become a Giddens fan and would easily recommend them. We live rurally outside of Kamloops. Dave has visited twice on appliance repairs. Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. In the current environment where businesses are struggling to find staff (especially specialized technicians), we feel fortunate to have such a company serving Kamloops and area. Highly recommended.

They have repaired a few appliances for me over the years. The tech Eddie is a great guy. Very personable. My on complaint is sometimes it takes awhile for them to be able to send a tech. Almost two weeks wait for my last warranty service.

I have used this service in the past and was satisfied with the work. Today I called them to ask for a service call on my dishwasher. They told me I would have to removed my dishwasher and transport it to their shop to be looked at.... this seem like a ridiculous request to me.
