Crisis line staff are severely undertrained. They are rude, and are clearly not capable of their jobs. If you don’t call wanting to kill yourself they will mock you. Called back after having a bad experience so I can get another number to a crisis line the lady told me to “look it up myself” unbelievably unprofessional. Never in my life have I been in contact with a service who hasn’t given me the proper access to other mental health service. All out of spite. Will be reporting and the guy working there too needs to go. Both power trippers who have no clue how to treat people with mental illness

Never go here ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE COP ANXIETY!!! I was having a panic attack and I called their USELESS crisis line... They sent the cops for a wellness check" after I told them about my overwhelming cop anxiety THEY DID IT ANYWAY. Under trained useless wastes of oxygen"

Called them depressed and said I couldn’t find a girlfriend and the girl on the phone said “is it small”. They also traumatized me by saying I was only depressed because I thought negative, and I just need to choose to think positive.

I had my expectations set to below ground level. I was overwhelmingly disappointed. If I could give negative stars I would.

I wouldn't give any of these people stars. I stared at them through a window thinking they were the least we'll learned and studied people at my school. The food for the mental health ward is not enough to supply the veggies or dietary means of any health person, let alone someone with severe mental health issues". Their interest is usually to drug or promote their clinical mindfulness which is actually usually brainwashing you to believe you have no legal rights or obligations to your health. I would say similarly of most mental health wards ( you will often see former graduates of your school

I've been requesting support while I've been with SERVERE depression and acompaning suicidal thoughts for MONTHS.Eventually after about a 3 month wait I was told I was on a waiting list.Four more weeks, and was told someone would contact me in a day or two and that I might get a therapist or caseworker in two weeks.Five weeks later I had a two hour intergration call for me to get the therapist for me. Was told someone would contact me in a day or two about addictions counseling.Six weeks after that, I received my addictions counselor and they had no idea I was also supposed to receive a therapist.It's been an 6th month journey to get here. At this point, it's more probable for someone to get a passport, and apply for citizenship in another country to get a therapist there than here.After waiting for 6 months, have been informed that I was never on a wait-list for therapy and that Mental Health Services don't have anything to do with therapy. Gee.. thanks guys.Don't waste your time.

These guys have been with me every step of my recovery. They've connected me wth outside resources, and always have a crisis workers available. Sometimes you do have to wait, and sometimes you don't connect with a certain worker, but these amazing people are doing everything they can within their ability to help. I believe they are the best resources in town, and would refer them to anyone having a crisis.

Asked to speak to a man - none were available. Tried a different number - went to same person. Asked for men's resources - she didn't know any. Said she has the same internet as me. I replied that I'm calling because I found none. Only one of us works in public health of the two of us, and she can't give a single resource. I state that there's a severe problem with that. She didn't like that. I said maybe I'll kill myself (since there really is nothing for help for men, just read the reviews here), and she hung up on me. This is how they treat people in crisis. I'll tell everyone I know.
