Lake & Carlton Laundromat

Been coming here for a few years now. It's very clean albeit a bit shabby.They've recently upgraded their machines to take tap/card and replaced a few older machines as well. Never had an issue with this place! Definitely recommended.

Excellent service, very clean, lots of machines & they all work! There are lots of other laundry services too at reasonable prices. I'm happy to have them so close.

Despite being smaller, it is clean & all machines are in good working conditions and also affordable but I had a bad experience for my first time as for (my new recently a month old phone at that time) was snatched by a cpl while charging right at the window behind me as I was out front smoking.I asked the lady if possible to look into the surveillance camera to see if it was caught clearly to remember on not letting them back in again, if they ever came back for others not becoming one of their victims. And, sadly it was a dummy camera. However, I stated as to why have a fake camera to simply scare off the thief's from a business!!!However, having a bad experience for one individual doesn't mean it's a bad place for others because it is not.

This place is big, clean and quiet. Price of using washer is starting from $2.50 and dryer is 6mins per quarter. It has coin change machine and soap machine. Also there are Large tables and chairs too.

Went in to exchange my change before bringing my laundry in (that was in my car) as I wanted to make sure there was actually change in the machine. Got accused of just breaking my change and not doing laundry here. The ladies were condescending and rude. I understand maybe it happens with other people but don’t jump to conclusions and accuse me of lying. I then brought my laundry in and they were talking to eachother about how people buy change here and leave. Poor customer service and attitude was not necessary. It simply could have been solved by saying “all we ask is you do your laundry here that’s all” instead of “well where is your laundry? Why didn’t you bring it in”. I will NOT be coming here again. Very unfortunate because it’s reasonable pricing and down the street from me.. I have been here tons of times before.

I used to like this laundromat. Is clean and machines work. They have started to accept debit cards, but they lowered their washing cycles from 30 min yo 27 min, and AGAIN adjusted the prize, from 3 CAD to 3.5CAD. this has been the 3rd time they increased their prices just in the last 18 months. Ridiculous. Also tried the card system once, it charged 3.5CAD but the cycle didn't started. There's no one to complaint about after 12pm, no matter what hours of operation they claim to have. Beware, used to be my fav laundry place in St Catherine, now I'm looking for the next best thing.

Great little laundry mat, Staff is friendly, place is clean and good hours of operation as well as a clean washroom which is a big benefit. Reading some comments and seeing issues with coin/dollar exchange, these machine do not take a lot of change and with a busy busines, it empties quickly. Here is some quick tips on Laundry etiquette. Stay with your laundry, Know what Machines to use for larger items, half hour to wash and half hour to dry is all you need, share the table, its a folding table, not a table for your personal stuff, do not leave thing unattended, close the doors to the washers/dryers after use, and most of all be respectful to others and the business so we can all enjoy.

Good reliable machine good prices and friendly stuff and clean.... And now you can pay with your credit card and debit.. pretty cool... Still bring change for the dryers

I used your business for the first time today (2023-06-28) and was unsure of how to use the one machine that I did use. I had issues with adding the quarters and told the lady that was behind the counter that I put in too many coins and it still was not working. The way she talked to me was appalling, she made me feel stupid...and she did this in presence of another customer. I ended up apologizing for doing it wrong, but I sat there at the table and started crying because of her rudeness. And because of her I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER frequent your establishment again. She needs to be talked to about this.

This laundry mat is a little drive from home. It's a better place because the place we used to go has been closed by 7PM and the operator of the pizzeria kicked us and 4 others doing laundry we had to pull ower wet clothes and go to a nother laundry mat. And the new place is on carlton and York st.
