I've been a patient of Cedar Pointe Optometry for a few years and I can definitely say all staff and doctors are most pleasant, professional, accommodating and interpret any issues or concerns clearly. You're not rushed out the door if you have any further queries. The Optitians are most patient and skilful assisting with suitable frames and lenses. Eyewear is efficiently ready within 10 days, at times, sooner. Cedar Pointe Optometry is and has been exceptional. Thank you all!

I am thrilled to have found a new eye doctor after moving to Barrie. Everyone in there are friendly and extremely helpful. Liz was the firrst I met, who did the initial testing. She was great and really efficient. Dr. McLean was amazing and took the time to answer all the questions I had and explained everthing so it was easy to understand. Brook was wonderful and helped me pick out my new glasses. Exceptional service!

I have been going to here for over 20 years. We have enjoyed our Dr. I recently had an experience with my daughter who is disabled. The receptionist Liz, verbal attacked us when we arrived. She has never acted like this before. She had no compassion or understanding of a person with disabilities. I have never felt more compassion for my daughter who shrugged it off. She commented people always treat her like this she is used to it. So Cedar Point Optometry, I suggest you train your staff better on these issue. I will be taking our business to someone better trained!

Dr. Hamilton and the team at Cedar Pointe Optometry are always very friendly and helpful, even with last minute requests. The selection of glasses on hand is always excellent, and they were great at finding me contacts that would work. I had to try several different options and they never made me feel like it was a burden.

My husband and I have been extremely pleased with the service at Cedar Pointe Optometry. The Dr was able to explain clearly any questions we had about our eye examination. The women in the office are always pleasant and helpful as well as knowledgeable about the numerous choices we had when choosing our new glasses. Never any pressure only friendly service.

Been seeing Dr. Hamilton since I was wee little lady, always provides tip-top service and great conversations while supporting my eye-ball growth and changes. Had to get glasses because my eyes decided to be weak disappointments. No worries though, Cedar Pointe optometry has wonderful, on trend selection of fine eyewear. I’ve purchased several high quality frames, at an affordable price with them. Recently I purchased prescription sun glasses (Ray bans..got adult money now) and the experience was lovely. Turn around time was less than they quoted. Yesterday I picked them up and the lady who help do adjustments was great! So friendly and informative. Fancy sticking your finger in your eye to put some contacts in? Highly recommend you speak with Brooke. She patience of a saint, I would know it took me 15 tries to get one contact in because I couldn’t stop blinking like mad woman. But, she gave me tips and tricks. Now I wear them with ease for special occasions & events!Additionally, I love that they bill my benefits, to help save me from having money leave my account. Especially when I was younger, this was a great help to ensure I could regularly attend my appointments with peace of mind.10/10, wouldn't recommend going anywhere else, and you won’t want to after you give them a try!

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Cedar Pointe Optometry. My first interaction was a kind greeting the moment I stepped into the doors. The individual who did my exam next was informative, followed by tests with Alexander. He was phenomenal in providing me with detailed answers to my questions (he's definitely caries an impressive wealth of knowledge which was delivered in a genuine way), Tianna (apologies if it's misspelled) was fabulous, honest, understanding, and patient with helping me find the perfect frames. Cedar Pointe Optometry makes me feel like family. They meet my immediate needs and explain everything about my eyes after being tested. They offer professional feedback on every visit.

Dad was a Posty and the benefits said 1 pair of glasses per year. We called them Roy Orbison specials because they were the most unbreakable looking frames offered. By the time one year rolled around those frames had more tape than frame left. Then I found myself looking for my own optometrist but I brought the habit of being frugal with me. Pretty sure that one of the first questions I asked was if it would be possible to recycle the existing frames with new lenses/prescription. From 1998 until 2017 Cedar Pointe Optometry recycled the same 2 pairs of frames for me which over the course of time is a possible savings of thousands. There was repairs, but always saved for me to reuse. Warranty of lenses was also a topic because of my sweat being like Alien blood. Very acidic. It would damage the scratch coat of the lenses. It was felt that the scratch coat should have been able to tolerate human sweat and twice they were replaced. My concern was addressed and Cedar Point Optometry stood by the client and not the manufacturer. In 2017 i made the purchase of Ray Ban frames and the compressed pop bottle lenses that give sight to this aging curmudgeon. 2022 and I had to go looking for the stand by second pair and update the prescription. Unfortunately they looked like they went in the ring with Mike Tyson and could not be salvaged. My second pair of Ray Ban and I couldn't be happier. My point is that Cedar Point Optometry is an optometrists office that you can talk to, do business with and trust to act in your best interests.
