A full growth oak savannah awaits your visit. Twisting hiking trails which double as an exciting mountain bike adventure for avid cyclists. Deer, birds and unique flora delight the senses.

Trails seem to be mainly used for mountain biking. I hiked it, and it is very easy to get lost as the trails criss cross all over the place and even cross the tracks. Make sure you know how you came in so you can retrace your steps to leave. You can still see evidence of the old rail yard that used to be present here.I saw that on the trail they had areas with tons of tiles, not sure why but it was still unique to see.

Can't say enough about how much I love this place to walk and run my dogs, hate the fact the city/port authority is cutting trees and blocking our path for them but a beautiful place to run..This place should be left alone, 18 km of trail and they want to take away 16km from us..so sad!!

Secret gem hidden behind the dainty rice factory. Several walking and biking trails throughout the woods.

The forest was beautiful in the evening and had a somewhat mysterious feel to it. The hiking trails are just as they should be: natural and just wide enough as to not disturb too much undergrowth. Oaks & Walnuts were abundant. Glad I finally got to visit.

This place is an absolute hidden gem in Windsor. By far the best biking trails in the whole city, and the black oaks are hugeee!!!

Quiet place away from the Ojibway park crowds. Mix of prairie grass lands and new growth forest. Great bike trail on the south side of the park. Detroit river across on the north side of the park. Occasionally you'll see deer and snakes. Nice fenced in dog park at the entrance. Bridge construction and time of day might limit park access sometimes. Theres only 1 access point to the park now.

Lovely spot for a walk in the woods. Some areas of the park have hundred plus year old Black Oaks. The main loop takes about an hour at a moderate pace. I've only been here in the winter and the trails are kept quite nice. Unpaved, no gravel, so could be muddy in the spring. If you have a bad sense of direction, don't wander off the path marked as trails. Very few people stumbling around, since most of those types go directly to Ojibway which is quite close.
