They have amazing ice cream!!! We drove 40 minutes from Burnaby to here and it’s totally worth it!!!We order the malted mini egg and strawberry shortcake this time, remember add the waffle cone!!

Banter Ice Cream
Hands down the best ice cream in town! Their regular flavors are incredible and I've never had a seasonal flavor I didn't enjoy. Would recommend cinnamon toast crunch, lemon curd, or marble malt cookie dough for somebody visiting for the first time.But, If you're looking for a dairy-free option the ice cream is fairly average, very coconut forward.

What a Gem!This place is awesome, so glad we took our friend’s recommendation and came here for a ice cream break. There was a line up (10 mins) but definitely worth it.Walk around to the steps by the middle of the building and not up the ramp as that’s the exit (saw a bunch of people make this mistake, ourselves included)They had 14 flavours available when we visited and you can get single, double scoops, 4 scoop flights or pints to go. Being our first visit and seldomly in the area we went for the flight. This is perfect to share for two people and good value at $12. We tried Cold Brew Coffee, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Root Beer Float and Pink Lemonade Sherbet. All were really good and we had no regrets with any of the selections even though we weren’t able to taste test.Ray’s Tips:Plenty of free parking in adjacent lot.2 inside tables but quite a few barstools and benches on the patio, can also sit in the park!Hard time deciding on flavours? I really cannot give it more than 3 stars. Not the best ice-cream shop I've been too. Looks great from the outside and even inside interior designing is great. Very presentable.The ice-cream was sub par. I got the salted caramel one and it tasted like gasoline. Maybe it's that one flavour. The short lady was also very rude. There are many ice cream places, you should give us a reason to come back, not drive us away.

Should you find yourself in Abbotsford BC, and have a taste for some delicious ice cream, do check out Banter!We found it somewhat challenging to locate this ice cream establishment, however it was well worth this challenge!GMaps calls out your have arrived. Be sure to look for the ice cream shop at the back of a pale green rectangular building. Parking is available on the main Street, one has to walk around to the park side to enter. (Pls refer to my photos)The staff there were extremely friendly as they were helpful. I chose the Scout mint chocolate chip ice cream, with a scoop of Pavlov Berry swirl! Both flavors were equally delicious. We live here in Surrey, it sure would be nice if they were to open a location here in the lower mainland.I highly recommend this place, it by far has the nicest ice cream that I have tasted in the Lower Mainland!Enjoy!!

Such unique & tasty flavours of both non vegan & vegan ice creams! I really enjoy how there’s a few specialty flavours that they change up each month- such as the Moosetracks pint I included as a photo!The waffle cones are the freshest you can get, sometimes they’re even the slightest bit warm when placed in the bag after purchasing a few to go!

Everything here is so delicious. You absolutely HAVE to get your ice cream in one of their fresh-made waffle cones. Every flavour that I've tried has been delicious and the pricing is in line with other fancy ice-cream shops.
