My husband and I recently stayed for 2 wonderful days here! We can't say enough about our wonderful hosts, Lisa and Paul and Snacks their lovely dog. We had a beautiful room, very comfortable bed, and beautiful grounds to walk around with lots of places to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.Lisa gave us great ideas on where to eat and told us if we needed anything to just ask her. Will definitely return here again!!!Thank you Lisa and Paul!

Honestly, one star is generous. The facility was beautiful and we were really looking forward to reuniting with our family - which seemed like the perfect set up for. The owners were VERY rude. Monitoring our every move, getting in our faces, questioning when we were leaving to go touring. Sleeping on the couch was more comfortable then the beds. Owners did not have any customer service skills at all and were over all disgusting people to deal with. Recommend staying there - ONLY IF they get new owners.

The property was beautiful! But our room had issues with the outlets, some worked and some did not. The mini fridge was not working and so we alerted the property manager only for him to say “I hope you did not break it” very unprofessional and left us feeling unwelcome. We did not feel comfortable enough to approach the owners and had no direction as to how we could get new towels. Our group enjoyed the experience but would not recommend booking this site if you are a large group hanging together. This site is better suited for someone looking to have a quiet experience.

This was a beautiful place to stay for our spring vacation. It was such a peaceful environment with great views and many outdoor spaces to take in the scenery. The property owners, Lisa and Paul were so welcoming and always available for anything we might need. We stayed in a newly renovated two bedroom cottage that had a fully functioning kitchen with all the amenities needed to cook our own meals. The cottage was very spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend this property. I will certainly go back here and bring more family with me. Thank you Lisa and Paul for providing us with the comfort and calm of your lovely property. We hope to see you again.

Had a great stay at the Briarwood last night. Short but sweet!! Room was clean and super cozy on a cold winter night. Staff went out of their way to be sure I was comfortable. Great value. I’ll def be going back.

We recently stayed in one of the lodge rooms and it was fantastic! The room was very nicely renovated (with lots of great updates that were much appreciated). The towels were super soft, as was the bedding. We enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the water view and the property. It was a very serene evening!

We recently were hosted by Briarwood for a mini-conference. We used multiple rooms and the Banquet Hall for multiple days. Lisa and Paul treated us like royalty, they bent over backwards to make sure our group was comfortable and well cared for. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the property was neat and allowed us wonderful space to play games and fly kites and sit and visit by the water. Our group was welcomed to use the outdoor space freely and enjoyed their lovely facility. The atmosphere at Briarwood is friendly and the beautiful sunrises and open spaces are only part of that. Many in our group commented on both the beauty and peace of the place, but the comfortable and lovely accommodations.We highly recommend Briarwood Coastal Cottages & Lodge for a private family get away or for small group retreats. You will not be disappointed.
