Church's Texas Chicken
I'll start with the good.Great aesthetic. Very, very clean environment. The staff who assisted me were friendly, courteous and attentive. All staff, despite being very busy, were working well together and acted as a team. Kudos to you all!Now for the unfortunate part. The food.We ordered a 12 piece, half spicy and half regular. Fries and onion rings. The order took about 15-20 minutes, which I didn't mind. Considering how busy they were.The onion rings were actually inedible. I'm not being facetious either. They were really hard, over cooked and tasteless.The fries were cold, soggy and basically mush.The chicken. We received a box with all 12 pieces, and no way to identify the spicy from regular. They 'look' delicious, but the reality is quite the opposite. The outer breading has no flavour aside from grease, but it wasn't greasy until you ripped the chicken apart. Then the amount of grease was incredible. The chicken inside was also left flavourless and an oily mess. Astoundingly nasty to eat. The really strange aspect was that the meat was extremely dry, despite swimming in all that grease. If I were to hazzard a guess. Possibly the chicken is cooked first. Stored. Then upon ordering, is battered and fried. Essentially cooked twice. Again, I'm just guessing here. As I'm curious how the end product is so oily and yet dry and tasteless.Perhaps we'll return again in the future to give Church's another shot. However, at this point it's doubtful.In short. Your staff are great. Prices are too high. The food is awful.

Good crispy chicken and delicious gravy. Amazing biscuits, so yummy especially when still warm.Prices $$-$$$

I only bought for my wife. She loved there chicken. Some good deal prices. Service atmosphere was dull but no issues with them. My wife recommends. UPDATE: would like to add the chicken thighs are huge. I bought 6 thinking they would be small. These things were huge and my wife loved them.

Church's Texas Chicken
So many chicken places popping up in Barrie, was in the area so I gave Church's a try. Pleasantly surprised. Crunchy, moist tenders. Best biscuits I've ever had at a fast food place. Delightful side called jalapeno bombs, spicy, cheesy and Crunchy! Friendly staff, prompt service.

Food was alright. I had higher expectations but it was decent. Popeye's still wins. The service at the cashier was great. However, the tables were all very dirty & the area around the soft drink machine was also messy. It wasn't busy either so they definitely need to do a better job of keeping up with cleaning.

Super busy on a Saturday night during opening week. Waited for a good 25 minutes for food but the staff communicated that before I ordered. The chicken looks really good and fresh and so we were super excited to get it home and eat it. Three stars because I found it really oily under the breading and the breading did not have any flavor. The fries were not great either, pretty limp and soggy after a five minute car ride home. It was also pretty pricey. We did really enjoy the honey biscuits though.

Delious food,nice clean restaurant ,service was not good . My friends' food came out quickly, but I waited 20 mins more for mineShe would have been done her food before I got mine .

Food arrived soggy due to delivery in tight plastic bag. Chicken bites were 60% breading. Fries were incredibly soggy. Maybe they are better fresh but for delivery, 2/5.
