CIBC Branch with ATM

Very frustrating experience working with this branch. Very difficult to get a hold of anyone. No one ever answers the general line, and rarely do they call back. My banker was a no show for our telephone appointment and no one called back to reschedule. Lack of knowledge with transfering RRSPs. No one has any contact with the back office" so they can't explain where things are at. I went in to speak with the manager and he was supposedly on an hour long phone call and would call me back

Okay bank. Better than BMO hands down.. but yeah, agreeing with other reviewers on the fact that they take their sweet time.. hmm. I’ll edit the stars as the service improves or worsens..

Ok this is ridiculous. Every time I call to set up an appointment so i can have a bank account it gets put to voice-mail. And yeah I do leave messages. I can't get a job, apply for child tax Get my own phone, until I have a bank. Literally what a joke.

I don't feel comfortable doing banking at this location. Half the time, the banking completed is done incorrectly. The tellers don't understand and do not meet my needs. I have been on the urge of switching banks for the last year. Today was enough as the deposited amount was incorrect and I shouldn't have to watch what they are doing like a babysitter to make sure they do it correctly. You should leave a bank feeling comfortable and happy and satisfied. I never do feel comfortable when I deal with this bank.

Zero access for handicap people other than a button to open the door. Once inside no greeters or concern over elderly people who are handicapped and using a cane. My spouse stood in line for quite a long time almost falling over and zero access to a chair to rest. Once up at the teller my spouse is also hard of hearing the male teller was rude and would not speak up and told my spouse to stay behind the glass. This branch has no seating for handicapped people, does not care about elderly wait times and continues to give subpar service. My spouse fell outside the bank from the sidewalk and cut his head open as he was exhausted from waiting so long!! 100% unnacceptable

I I agree with all the previous posts. Don’t bother leaving a message no one will return your call. The service is not only slow but they talked my 88 year old dad into locking up all his money in terms for 5 years and would not release it until I contacted head office. He had no money left to live on. I only wish head office would read these reviews and do something about it. This branch should be closed to help save the reputation of CIBC in general. Do your self a favour and bank somewhere else.

If I could rate this a zero, I would without even hesitating!!Terrible service. Employees are semi nice, but extremely unhelpful. It’s like no point of even having them there.Read other reviews, and realized they were all true. Service is terribly slow, and once you’re finally up to the desk, you end up literally doing their job for them.I come to the bank once I cannot figure the issue out myself. YET they give a number to call that I’ve tried to reach more than 3 times, and waited more than an hour each time ! Once again doing their job for them. Extremely frustrated, because I work at the bank myself, and this is NOT how you serve your clients.Once we figure out our issue, and that’s IF we figure it out; we’re closing the account.Worst bank to deal with.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I have been their client for 9 years and now im frustrated to say that I’ll stop using CIBC. I have an issue with my bank account and none of them seems helpful at all. I love the old staffs of 6-7 years ago, they were so helpful and friendly. They’re seriously need to re-trained these new staffs.Wish i can give 0 start.

I'm torn between 3.5 stars to 4.Confederation Drive location is decent. I occasionally have to wait in a long line, I have never had to wait longer then 30 minutes in line. Most tellers are very friendly with me. They listen and do what I ask. But I have had one teller (the same guy each time) ask for personal things for identification purposes" such as my SIN
