It has not even been a year owning 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 and it is in service and the motor is being taken apart to fix the valves. I am absolutely disappointed by this as I paid top dollar for this truck and have been saving to own this. For this to happen to a brand new truck I am extremely upset. Reason for purchasing a new truck is to have an assurance that this would not happen.I will never ever feel comfortable driving around the same truck because now the motor has been taken apart.I personally do not want that truck nor would want to buy another GMC ever in my life again.I am extremely angered by this my entire savings gone to waste.

GMC - I’m embarrassed for you. My 2014 Sierra with 89,000km went into one of your certified GMC shop with support from GM Oshawa (Hopper’s in North Bay, Ontario) 85 days ago with a blown lifter spring, with no explanation how that could happen to a relatively newer truck. Only to have it happen again a second time during the road test. That did not fix the root cause and since then, they have replaced the ECM, an injector and most recently the oil pump and still hasn’t solved the underlying problem. This science experiment continues to this day while being denied assistance and a loaner vehicle. GM does not value its costumers and continues to fail miserably at fixing and returning my truck in working order. I’ve never even heard of anything this disgraceful, let alone experience it first hand. This has been a nightmare and I will do my best to ensure everyone is aware of what it means to be a GMC customer.

Bought a new 2021 duramax yukon XL. It's been in the shop repeatedly, averaging once a month, for various electrical issues including a melted wire harness. GM refuses to warranty recommendations from the dealer, or stand behind their product. I have only ever owned GM products but never again. I understand lemons get sold from time to time, but even with recommendations from their own dealers they don't care, dismiss any form of compromise, and simply ignore customers. Terrible quality control, terrible customer service and useless warranties.

Horrible Experience so far with my 2 year old GMC SIERRA 1500 Elevation 2020.My truck has been going into Tow/Haul mode on its own CONTINUOUSLY for about a year.I have brought it 5 times to a GMC dealership now and it’s has yet to be fixed. No one can seem to figure out why when my truck goes over bumps or I turn the steering wheel certain ways why the tow/haul mode is activated on its own. They have done computer updates on computer updates. They have taken out ALL wires and and reconnect all of them.AND IT STILL happens!!I have sent a letter to GMC Canada andTHEY DID NOT CARE AT ALL. Practically told me to kick rocks.Telling me there is NOTHING they can do for me. And that I need to deal with my dealership to fix the problem.I find it unbelievable a 2 year old vehicle can’t be fixed and has this BIG of a problem already. The fact that no one in the corporation has even tried to sympathize with me over letters and clear frustration at the dealership! It is very unfortunate. But this will be first GMC VEHICLE and most definitely MY LAST ONE.I don’t know if it’s a lemon and that’s why it goes into Tow/Haul mode going over small bumps in the road but the fact it can’t be fixed by dealership personnel clearly shows the quality of the vehicle and parts.First and let GMC for sure.GMC is nothing more than frustrating, infuriating, disappointing to put it lightly.Wish this wasn’t the case as I do like features and the look of their trucks.

Another customer unhappy with your service. This would be my first and last GM car. Imagine 60000 km on your leased vehicle. I don't know any other brand that puts this low quality of brake rotors for Canada, they are rusted in 2 yrs and the pads grinding this soon. Customers, be ready to lose your heater in Winter as it seems they have not solved this failure problem for 10 years now (simply google it). You need to call them 10 times maybe they accept their fault. Does GM find itself a competent manufacturer?

I have a 2018 HD 2500 diesel and it has had a vibration in it since new, I have put $7000.00 in parts and labor and and every time I take in to be looked at it costs me $200.00. I have narrowed the problem down to either the torque convertor or the front or rear axles, took it in every 6000km for service while under warranty and they said they checked oil level in axles and then I checked them and they were almost empty, I would be really happy if I could get a phone number for GM Oshawa so I could talk to someone.

If you want to lose your money or if you want to but your life in danger, come to GMC as there is no guarantee on the GMC warranty. Honestly, maintenance centers are very good at inflating tires and changing engine oil. Safety systems, according to GMC documents, may work sometimes, and whenever you go to the maintenance centers to complain about a malfunction, they tell you that this is normal and there is no problem with that. Please pay attention to this before you lose your life and the lives of your children and loved ones. What happened recently and finally with me, when the GMC Terrain 2021 was traveling at a speed of 22 km per hour (according to the GMC report itself) when suddenly something broke under the vehicle and the car swerved to the right and hit the sidewalk and what you see in the picture happened, then GMC says that they are not responsible for this matter and the reason is that the car hit the sidewalk. I thank God that I wasn't with my kids and I wasn't driving on a highway, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this review right now.

I paid for the warranty with road side assistance. today I called for a boost for my 2017 vehicle. (Yes it is a new one and they don't have battery rundown prevention) I requested from Humber river hospital near the busiest 401 highway and waiting for more than 2 and half hours for a boost. The money you pay for road side assistance is useless. You guys don't deserve even a single star
