I love this place! I have never been anywhere that has done fakes but they did this so amazing for my first time! The service was amazing and the end result was even better than the picture!!

Really disappointing experience. Called in for an appointment at 11. We had to sit and wait and 2 walk-ins that came after us were sat prior to us. They treat people who get normal manicures so poorly unless they want to get fake nails.I had wanted to sit with my daughter and get our nails done side by side (the whole experience together as this was her first time getting her nails done professionally).My shellac doesn’t even seem like shellac and I had to request it get fixed and they still are not nice. I asked for my nails to remain the same style and she filed them much different than they were.My daughters toe is already ruined and her index nail polish is completely removed we got those done at 11:30am today.If you get regular manicures on your real nails I would not recommend coming here. Not allowing me to post pictures or I would attach.

I went to go and get my nails done and wanted just a simple shellac manicure. The shellac started falling off 24 hours after the appointment and I paid almost $40 for the set. Very disappointed was expecting it to last a lot longer considering the price. I have never had shellac come off in 1 day. I do not recommend.

Went for a gel polish change and was disappointed. The service was incredibly rushed and done poorly. The polish and top coats were not applied evenly leaving a textured feel and look.

I don’t normally do reviews but I was very impressed with my dip manicure from Luxe Nails by Jack. I recently moved to the Kingston area and anyone who has had their “nail lady” for years knows how hard it is to find a new trusted nail place! I am very picky and hate the tool to file the top coat off due to a bad experience in the past. I told Jack this and he was very careful and checked in frequently to ensure it wasn’t getting too hot. Jack took his time, cleaned up my cuticles and my nails turned out great (the shape is perfect and the dip is even and not too thick). I will definitely be back! I went here looking to change the colour of my nails. I asked for a simple light pink, this is what I received. When I said I didn’t like the result they just asked me to pay. Extremely disappointed and upset. I will now have to go home and try and repair them myself. Completely defeats the purpose of going to get my nails done as well as a complete waste of my money.

Went in for my birthday nails with my mom, used to come here all the time. I got shellac on my real nails, they tried to tell me shellac wouldn’t work and i needed bio gel which is untrue and just for the up charge, and my mom got a bio gel fill. They charged us $10 each for “manicures” which literally consisted of us getting the extra skin cut off our fingers. No massage. Nothing. I paid an extra $10 to have my fingers sit in water and cut skin off. That should be included in the manicure cost with the paint and filing, that’s a basic manicure and nail appointment. My mom got biogel and it almost cost her an additional $10 for a different polish. $70 for a fill, that’s unheard of for a simple bio gel fill so she opted to just stick to one colour for $60. Then at the end they didn’t allow her to use her discount punch ticket she had and it’s for “next time” which is completely not fair. Don’t plan on coming back and they have lost a very regular customer. I’m extremely disappointed in this experience today, especially with it being my birthday.

I’ve been going to luxe for well over 2 years now. They are always willing to recreate my reference photos and always amaze me with their abilities. Pricing is fantastic, service is great, and they are well staffed. A huge range of products and services have made me a loyal customer and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Went here when I was hurt during a fill by another salon, told me on the phone they could help me, went to my appointment only to be told I would have to start with a new set & pay for a full set instead of a fill which is what I was doing at the previous salon.Wasted my time & tried to gouge me unnecessarily. Seems to me like they don’t care about customers, just money. I would have been a regular customer, I’ll instead go somewhere where I’m not just a dollar sign.Reply to the response:I had no lifting for air or water to get in, what you were seeing was old gel that hadn’t been finished being taken off because I left quickly after I was hurt and it wasn’t finished being removed fully. If you had taken the time to properly inspect them you would have seen that but you were more worried about wanting the money for a brand new full set when one of my nails was far too damaged to even get a new nail put on!I found a wonderful nail salon that was able to do the things I asked of them with no problem what so ever. There is zero signs of lifting, water damage or mold in my newly filled nails! They are friendly, clean & reasonably priced & now have another loyal customer in their books every 3 weeks. I would have been your repeat customer had you not tried to take advantage of me and my desperation to get my nails properly finished without extra damage. So thank you for treating me poorly & trying to take advantage of my situation. I would have never found the amazing place I have now! :)
