Peturrson's Ravine
Wonderful to have this wilderness so close by. We use the trails year round for dog walks, mountain biking and cross country skiing. Easy flat trails along the edge of farm lands or some tough squiggly biking trails that zig zag through the trees and shrubs along the steep slopes of river bank itself. Your choice, and you can always change your mind part way along.

I went to this space for the first time last week and really enjoyed hiking in the area. Many secluded paths that make you feel like you’re out of the city.

What an incredible hidden gem in Saskatoon! So close to the city yet it feels you are out in wild country. Many trails, gorgeous winter sunsets and animal life is quite affluent. Seems that not many people knows about this place!

Excellent 0lace to get out on the bikes or go for a walk. Bike trails in this area vary in skill level for all users. Numerous walking paths in the area many leading to the river if you have a pup that is a water fan!

Wonderful trails in all seasons. There are solid, wide, fairly level, crushed gravel trails along the river, great for strollers or other wheels, plus narrow paths through hills and grass and trees through the ravine and lower along the river, for the more adventurous. Trails are usable in all seasons. In April/May, the native prairie comes alive with thousands of wild prairie crocuses. There is a small parking lot for cars.

A terrific location for some of the cities best XC trails for mountain biking. Always a treat to inform people of the existence of these trails and then hear their stories after being out to try them on their own. This is a multi use area catering to cyclists, hikers and dog walkers so please be respectful of each other.
