Save-A-Life First Aid & CPR

Recertified my CPR through this organization. The course itself was fine, instructor was good. However, the organization intentionally takes additional days to send out the certificates and charges a steep fee to get it before the two week period. To only send an email. Of course, first they send out an email demanding extra payment to get the certificate in a reasonable time. And of course, within minutes the certificate comes, they intentionally wait to send them out just to get additional payment. Even though participants should already by certified to do the skill at this time. This is inane when the course is already so expensive. I would definitely steer clear of this organization in the future.

Huge shout out to the admin assistant Tara, and the instructor Sajeev.Great accomodations for folks with disabilities and mental health, in a non-stigmatizing way.Sajeev was hilarious, engaging and knowledgeable.I was terrified to have to redo my first aid, but these folks put my mind at ease.I feel confident that I could help in an emergency

The instructor was very unknowledgeable. I needed to re-certify my CPR/AED, the course was scheduled for 9:00am-12:30pm. I did not learn one thing and a lot of the information the instructor was telling us was false. The method of instruction was also not beneficial as the instructor just sat at the head of the table and talked about nonsense, no videos, no demos, nothing. Our class ended up 'finishing' at 10:30am (an hour and a half after we started) after we paid full price for a full recertification. Luckily I obtained my recertification card I needed and have already completed several first aid/CPR courses in the past, otherwise I would have been completely lost.

Excellent CPR training course. Took the Emergency First Aid/CPR C course. Sajeev was a perfect instructor, made the experience enjoyable and used/described a number of great scenario's to enrich our learning with First Aid and emergency care. Save a Life were particularly accommodating for me when I had to reschedule my course due to an emergency! Book with them if you need your certification.

The instructor gave everyone the answers during the test--I understand everyone needs this for a job, but this is very concerning and disappointing. I actually saw people sleeping during the session who had to ask very basic questions during the testing period.Second to that main concern, I was charged $10 for a wall certificate." This is a scam

Great course! Intensive and great training material. I find online session part was intensive with great materials.However, I find trainer in the in-person session was less prepared. Trainer never explained the session schedule for the day, was always flipping back and forth (basically the presentation slides containing same material in online session), less engaging to participants, and I feel like not sensitive enough while sharing experiences of incidences (such as giggling/laughing while sharing sever fire incidence)! (Indeed always great to be friendly but at the same time, for me, needs seriousness specially for the training like this).I wish in-person session was focused more on practice and demonstration rather than lecturing with the repeated content from the online session so that participants will have real life saving skills !Overall, great training and keep it up!

I just completed my First Aid and CPR course and Sajeev was our instructor. He was fantastic, funny, efficient, and explained and answered our questions when we weren't unsure. He was able to guide us and help us through lots of questions or concerns we had or was unsure about. I highly recommend coming here and hope you have Sajeev as your instructor as he was great!!

My booking for recertification was cancelled two days prior to the class due to not enough people being registered….. I get an email with 4 alternative dates two of which are past my expiry date. I do not get a response back via email or phone for over a day and a half. The alternative classes were in a couple days. I finally get a hold of someone they claimed they responded to my email(never did) and claim the two classes offered are full… if someone were to respond in a timely manner I would have been able to attend one. They then offer a class the next day that was not offered initially. I accept and the day of the class was cancelled. Terrible communication. Should have read the reviews first. Red Cross notified.

The training was great! Elise is fantastic and provides a fun, interactive learning environment. It was a pleasure doing this course
