Kate Green Artist

Over the years, Kate has painted three of my lovely dogs. I chose Kate because her use of colours captured the spirit and joy my dogs have brought to my life. All four paintings are on my 'dog wall' in my bedroom. Their happy faces captured during precious moments greet me every morning.Kate has a remarkable talent at capturing the essence and personality of animals. Her work is flawless and demonstrates her passion.Two of my dogs have now passed and I am so thankful that I had Kate commemorate them. They still remain with me.

We wanted a memorial of Spike, our beloved reptile pet of many years, after he passed away suddenly. We came across Kate's site and like what we saw, so we decided to commission her. We only had a few pictures of Spike, but Kate managed to capture his essence. It was up on the wall within minutes of getting the portrait home! We are delighted with the results and we will be able to admire Spike for many years to come.

Kate Green has painted 5 portraits for us. She was perfect to work with and very insightful. Each of the portraits of our grandchildren reflect their personality. Very professional. Extremely talented.

My wife commissioned Kate to make a portrait of our gorgeous boy Jasper - our 16-month old Chocolate Labrador for my birthday.The picture selected as a base for the painting was taken by dear friends of ours in New York while visiting there. It was a relaxing day and we were just getting ready to go for a short walk around the block. While Jasper is normally very exited when going out and about, that time he was calm and looking forward to have his humans" showing him a new place and town. His mind was somewhat in a wondrous state.You captured this in all its beauty and detail. Words can truly not describe how in awe we have been when unwrapping the painting. It was love at first sight when I saw this painting. I am more than thrilled with him. I have bought a few paintings now and will keep going back for more. The second painting is Toby, my cat. Isn't he a stunner?

When my sister lost her battle with cancer, we were devastated. I wanted to find a way to memorialize her in my home, and remembered how impressed I was to see the portrait commissions Kate had done in the past. I reached out and the prices Kate quoted were very reasonable for a portrait commission. When I found the perfect picture, I sent it to Kate, and before I knew it Kate was letting me know it was ready for me. Without seeing it, I ordered prints for my family to also enjoy. Kate brought the painting to me, and I could barely hold back the tears. It was perfect! Kate had successfully captured the twinkle of fun in my sister’s eyes, the smile of contentedness, just short of breaking into a laugh, and just a bit of the familiar spot she was standing in while she visited and enjoyed her glass of shiraz. My sister’s portrait now hangs in my living room, sharing our family time & gently reminding me to make the most of life. Thank you so much, Kate, for graciously honouring my sister’s memory with your beautiful talent. It is such a treasure to me and my family, and the value of it to us cannot be measured. I would absolutely hire Kate again.
