Ken is the best! Will do whatever it takes to help someone out, especially those visiting whistler who run into car/tire trouble. Came in because of a nail in my tire and he helped get me sorted out and on my way.

I called last minute knowing I left it late to have my tires changed over for Winter. Other competitors quoted me a 4 week wait meanwhile, Local Automotive said they’d get it done for me that morning. Upon arrival the staff were exceptional, my tires got changed quickly, and they had me on my way again within the hour. All this and the price was still extremely reasonable. My new go to mechanic for sure! Thanks guys.

We were driving home from Whistler on a Saturday. We noticed a weird sound coming from our breaks/rotor.We needed some advice if we should drive back to Vancouver. A younger staff member (Kiwi or Aussie) came over and assisted, with no hesitation. He was a total legend!!Thanks a lot!!

I phoned late on Friday afternoon because I had a flat tire. I explained that it was pretty low on Wednesday evening and I filled it but just went to the garage and noted it was flat again. I was asked if it could wait until after the weekend, I said it could but I was uncomfortable not having a car in the meantime. Ken asked if I could come down before 6 pm and I did and they fixed it immediately. I am not a regular client (I will be now) and they were super busy (as all businesses in Whistler are and all are short-staffed) but they took the time to squeeze us in. I can't say how much I appreciate the willingness to help us out. We live here full time and it is pretty necessary to have a working car in case of an emergency. So THANK YOU !!

I first brought my car to Ken based on the recommendation of a local tow truck operator. He was able to salvage my tire rim damaged by hitting a large pothole. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and service that I subsequently have taken my car there for routine maintenance. Ken gave me a detailed estimate and the work was done quickly and as quoted. It is obvious that Ken is committed to customer service and satisfaction and that is something I value. I expect to use his facility for future automotive requirements – although, hopefully, no more rim repairs!

I arrived in Whistler late at night, and I was very embarrassed because I suddenly had a flat tire. The next day, I stopped by several car centers, but the staff said they couldn't fix it because there were not enough. I thought it was the last time I visited another place, and it was so kind. It's hard because there are only a few employees, but they said they can fix it. They did their best, and the results were very satisfactory. We had a great time because of their kindness.

Beyond excellent service! made decisions on our behalf to save money and showed me the part that was removed to explain the wear and tear. They even took me for a drive in my car after to give me some tips on how to get more out of the performance and life of my car. We're very pleased!
