DECO Windshield Repair: Winnipeg Glass Shop

Happened to see a DECO tent, so I wheeled by to have the tech look at a new crack that had formed. He couldn’t facilitate a repair but took my contact info for follow up. I was contacted within a day or two, set an appointment for windshield replacement. Arrived for my appointment, drivers licence and insurance, and I was on my way. About 3 hours later I got a call, truck ready. I picked it up along with a free set of wipers and a coupon for a Chamois exterior was. Great customer service and quality work, I’d highly recommend DECO!

I had a fantastic experience with Deco Windshield repair. My windshield got hit by a big rock from a passing truck. I took it to one of their kiosks but the attendant could not fix it after 30 minutes as the damage was too extensive. There was no charge for it. Next day I called Deco and got an appointment. They replaced the windshield in 3 hours, completed the MPI documents so I paid the deductible only, gave me 2 Unicity taxi vouchers and I used them to go home and return. They also gave me a free car wash voucher to Chamois, a pair of windshield wipers and one year guarantee so that if my windshield got damaged again in one year, I would get a free repair or replacement. How can you beat this?

Do not sign up for anything with this company. I have been trying to cancel a “membership “ twice now and they still take money out of my visa. They keep renewing it even though I have emails from them saying it was cancelled.The repair on my windshield was mediocre at best also.Take your money elsewhere

I have replaced my Rav4 hybrid 2021 Toyota windshield from Deco Glass and they did a very good job. very professional and welcoming staff and understand their work very well. I recommend all of you to contact with Deco glass for any work related your’s car windows . They will do it very professionally.

I repeatedly called them and looked on line to see where I could find one of their windshield repair kiosks. No success in reaching anyone. I don't know how they stay in business. I went to J-Max because I could not connect with Deco.

FRAUD ALERTI attended Kenaston and McGillivray, in Winnipeg, on Friday June 9/23 for a Chip Repair at the Deco Windshield Orange Tent near Sobeys.Deco uses tablets with no Tap for outside Chip Repair. You can pay Debit or Credit, but you must enter your info in the tablet including Name, Email, and card info for processing.Repair took about 30 minutes. Nice guy, and I gave him a Tip for service.Approximately 15 minutes after I left the Deco Repair Tent, I had started getting hundreds of Spam emails (297 to be precise). I called Deco Winnipeg and spoke with Teagan who said he was a Manager. He said Deco Chip Repair had nothing to do with what happened with my Spam emails and must have been someplace else that had my email. (I get maybe one Junk Mail a month, if that) Teagan asked me to text him pics of the Spam – I did.This is all within minutes of my processing my info at the Deco Chip Repair Tent.As I’m speaking with him about the emails, I get a notice from my Bank, I have $9.61 left in my bank account that had thousands in it before the repair. I advise Teagan of this, and he asks me to text him pics of my Bank acct. Yeah, NO.I called my Bank and locked my account. The money was moved via Interac Charges out of the account which means your Bank can’t protect you as the funds are in third party hands, in this case Interac.I then called Deco Windshield Repair Head Office in Calgary and spoke with Ben who seemed like a nice guy, but he only answers the phone. No one in a position of authority could be bothered to call me back even though he promised he’d get someone to call me.This could only have happened for one of two reasons:Either the tablets Deco Windshield Repair uses for Payment are compromised with Malware (possible), and they obviously don't care because no one was at all interested in speaking with me either on Friday, the weekend, or today, Monday June 12, 2023, to find out about the issue, or advise they were actioning that Tablet.Or the employee can access your payment information as you are required to manually enter it into the Deco Chip Repair Tablet, and either he defrauded me himself, or he provided my information to a third party for the Fraud to take place.Fraud Report filed with Winnipeg Police but think twice before using this type of Chip Repair Service.
