Had an awesome experience with Habib Canadian Bank during the SDS (Student Direct Stream) GIC process from Pakistan. Customer service is very helpful specially Asad Saeed" who were helping our case. I highly recommend to open GIC account with Habib Canadian Bank if you are coming from Pakistan to any Canadian University . The whole process just took 4-5 business days to get the actual GIC confirmation letter."

One of the best experiences that I have had opening and closing my account in a foreign bank. I wanted to open a GIC account for my study permit and had to unfortunately close it since the permit got refused. Mr. Asad Saeed who was in-charge of my case has guided and assisted me throughout my account opening and closing stages. I wanted to get my GIC account for sds visa. I tried contacting different banks which were enlisted. I must say habib canada bank was very prompt and helpful. They literally opened my account in one day and than after recieving my funds they sent me the certificate the same day. I think it all depends on your bank officer which in my case was Ms. Afshan. She was helpful, very prompt in response and learned. Great work! Keep it up!

The staff at Habib Canadian are very cooperative and helpful.Mr. Asad Saeed at HCB processed the GIC account and I must say his professionalism and expertise made it all quick and easy.

I visited Habib Canadian Bank, Mississauga branch on Thursday, July 27, 2017 to transfer money to my relative in Pakistan and to open an account. The branch Manager was not willing to open the account without prior appointment and without having an account transfer was not possible.This bank has unfriendly policy towards customers. The bank only open from 9:30 to 4:30 Mon - Fri. No late hours banking and no week-end (Saturday) service. Whereas in GTA all major Canadian banks and foreign banks open late for some days in a week and most of them open on Saturday to facilitate banking by those who are working and only have time to go to bank after their working hours or on Saturday.The policy of this bank is only good for retired people or for those who are not working for one reason or the other. Those who are working can not do banking with this bank. Based on the above I find policy and timing of this bank disappointing and against the interest of their shareholders and the potential customers .

Just jogging by and noticed this bank that was hidden in this plaza. Nice deco outside and easy to get to if you're walking by. It's also easy to miss if you're flying by in a car on Dundas. I believe there's parking at the back. Enjoy!

I would definitely recommended HCB especially for their student GIC program. I had great experience with them while obtaining GIC. Where other banks have plenty of restrictions on wire transfer for GIC, their process is quite simple, easy and fast. I would like to thank Mr. Syed Asad Saeed for his support and guidance in professional manner throughout the process.

I had a great experience with Habib Camadian Bank. I would really recommend HCB. Their staff is very well mannered. Especially, Mr. ASAD is really responsive. He handeled my case and was really helping.
