Terry tried at first to save my sony Bravia at first to save me some cash , when was impossible, offered to give it back zero charge , replaced the main board and gave me a great price , Bravia works fantastic, would recommend this place all day long , thanks for the great service terry!!

I’m a little crazy about research, so i can tell you, I talked to them all from Abbotsford to Vancouver, and Terry at Excel Electronics is/was the best!Firstly, his understanding of my issue was was clear (burnt out led strips). Secondly, his prices are fair. Third, his turnaround was very quick (especially compared to his competitors) and lastly, the tv looks perfect!Thanks Terry!Highly recommend!

Mr. Terry was so nice, professional and empathetic. He fixed our Sony Bravia by replacing the burnt out backlight of our TV. Very efficiently done in a day and a half. We won't be buying another Sony TV but definitely if another electronic product gets damaged, we will be going to Excel Electronics again. He also let my partner and I stay in his store, sheltered from the cold, while waiting for the car to come. So nice!! Thank you so much! We deeply appreciate it.

I want to say Thank You to Terry who saved my father's 43inch Smart TV from going into the recycling. The LG TV oneday just went dark and all it was just sound, for a 9 year old tv with all the smart features we didn't want to trash it as my 82 year old dad was used to everything on the TV. Terry did not have the parts available locally, so it had to come from abroad, what he did do was just took some parts from another one just so my dad could have a TV to watch untill the new parts came in, he swapped the old parts out put the new one in... and good to go again!Plus his price was the best in town!!

Terry was actually the second guy I called. I chose him over the other company because he was a respectful guy and very professional. Terry was very honest about pricing and his repairs. I’ll definitely come back to see him.

I had a problem with my tv flickering a lot. I called for the first time and spoked with Terry. He was very very helpful and friendly, he asked me to text video the problem and unfortunately he mentions that it is common problem and that it’s a panel problem.He did not make any recommendations or diagnostic to make some money, he was honest and trustworthy. Any electronic issues I will definitely call this company again.

I can only echo other 5-star reviews of the unbeatable customer service that Terry provides at Excel Electronics.The back light in our Toshiba TV died. When Terry looked to replace it, he found that the specific part (an older model) our TV needed was not available new anywhere. So, he offered to replace our burned-out back light with a used one, but he was also happy to hold on to our TV for a while to see if the needed part became available new anywhere. Alternatively, we could have decided to just buy a new TV instead of having ours repaired, in which case Terry would not have charged us anything. We asked Terry to keep our TV for a couple of months to see if a new part became available, and then to replace our dead back light with a used one if still no luck. We ended up with a used one, which unfortunately lasted just a few days before also burning out. Without any obligation to do so (no warranty, after all, and Terry was very transparent that the used back light was a gamble because it might not last very long), Terry offered to refund half of what we paid for the repair, which we greatly appreciated. I received that partial refund just an hour or so after texting Terry, first thing in the morning on a stat holiday no less, to let him know that our repaired TV had already died again. On top of all this, Terry was happy to both pick up and drop off our TV (we live close to Metrotown) at no cost.We will now look to buy a new TV, and Terry even advised that we do not buy Toshiba, Sharp, RCA, or some no-brand TVs. If I ever need a TV repair again, I will not hesitate to return to Excel Electronics!

Terry has fixed two of my TV's, very reasonable prices making it worth getting fixed and not throwing away. The first was a 26 which they don't make anymore it seems

Excellent service! Fixed my Samsung qled tv’s broken back light quickly and even delivered it to me since I live locally which was a huge help since I don’t drive. Very reasonably priced, all the other places I called wanted to charge me an extra $50 just to “diagnose” what I already knew was wrong with it but he didn’t. I felt that the pricing was very fair and the repair happened sooner than expected and the tv works great. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know :)

My Hisense 58 had power supply issue last week, i Google searched and found Terry’s shop. I dropped off the TV by 1 pm and he replied with the diagnosis by 6 pm. 2 days later my TV is ready for pickup! I really appreciate Terry’s speedy service and it’s all about trust and profession :)
