Eyes on Burrard

I was in the market for prescription sunglasses and checked out a number of eyeglass places in the area. I was impressed with the selection offered and so I engaged the customer service representative. I was immediately provided great service from the lady (Annie) who helped me. She really took the time to help me find a pair that was not only nice, but that fit me correctly- I think I must have tried about 15 pairs. She was kind, knowledgeable, and honest about what fit and suited me. It was a perfect customer service experience.I have since gone back twice. The first time was because I noticed the arm was becoming a bit loose. Upon closer inspection I noticed a screw had fallen out. I brought this (and my receipt) to the store and they were able to order a replacement screw and fix them in a timely manner.After wearing the glasses most of the summer I could feel the glasses not sitting as well as they did when they were new. I recently brought them into the store and the gentleman there was able to adjust them on the spot. He was meticulous to ensure they sat right and that the adjustments were balanced on both sides. Again, I left a happy customer. It was great to have a consistent customer service experience from browsing, through to after-purchase support. Next time I'm in the market for another pair of glasses I'll go right to Eyes on Burrard.

I had such a wonderful experience today at Eyes on Burrard! I needed to have glasses repaired rather urgently & the receptionist said that I could stop by without an appointment. When I reached the shop & they said they could have them ready within 15-20 minutes. The staff were incredibly kind and did a wonderful job repairing the glasses. When I inquired about what I owed they wouldn't take payment for the repair; I was so surprised. I wear glasses full-time and this is the best service I have ever received. It's evident that this company cares about it's customers and I definitely will be returning in the future. My sincerest thanks to the Team at Eyes on Burrard for making my day. :)

This organization is fabulous, the service is top notch. I thought i needed to buy a new pair of spectacles over a basketball damaging the frames and Ray really worked his magic and covered the lenses with Warrenty. Im very pleased with there service and making my frames new again made my day big time!! I've been a customer for a long time and will continue to keep buying all the new styles From Eyes on Burrard hand downs best place in town.

Be aware. Certain staff use ambiguous wording to trick customers:Tried to find a particular model from a “rare brand” and they didn’t have it but the sales person claimed it could be ordered but later found out the modal was not available after I paid the deposit. Then the sales claims there is another model that “looks Exactly The Same” as the one I ordered”. They just need to replace the lens. After I refused, that person said the deposit need their head office’s approval to be refunded l. Later it changed to “cash only” refund and I have to go to their location to pick it up.All in all, not enjoyable experience and I’m not coming back.

Upon recommendation of my hairdresser, I went to Eyes on Burrard to select new glasses including a pair of sunglasses. This was a great recommendation! Not only does the store offer a great selection of frames but they are reasonably priced. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and provide top notch customer service! A special thanks to Bill and Cathy - both provided me with this top notch service! I am very pleased and extremely satisfied with my new purchases (I left the store assured that I had that the best frames suited for me). Highly recommend them.

So kind. Eyes on Burrard handled a last minute Friday afternoon repair for me today. Not only were they super nice about it, but they made the repair swiftly and skillfully. I'll be back when it's time for new frames, for sure.

Went to browse their frames. Every single pair of glasses is locked behind glass, unaccesble to try on. Instead you must get the sales person to hold your hand, as they unlock every display case so you can try on a pair of glasses, all the while listening to them boast about glasses you don't want, make unhelpful suggestions, breath down your neck and give unwated information. The frames at many other opticals are just as nice and are less overpriced. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I went here for an eye exam. No worries, it was just time. Everyone was very friendly, and the doctor was accommodating when one of the machines made me feel faint. I really appreciated how patient she was. It was so embarrassing! I was excited to give a 5 star review just for her kindness.But the low rating is because of the customer service in other areas. There is lots of room for improvement for this establishment! First, when they send a consultation form before the appointment via email, they send it as a word doc, and an editable or fillable PDF or online form is much easier for the patient. Small fries tho.My real issue is that, upon checkout I asked if they could please email me the receipt so I could submit to my insurance since they could not submit for me. One of the woman said she would do it right then and I would get it within 5 mins. I went home, and a few hours later I emailed them asking for this again because I never got it. I got ghosted for 12 days. I called and asked for it to please be emailed, and if I could also get a copy of my prescription for my records. This time, the man I spoke to informed me that the doctor needs to sign off on prescriptions going to patients. All good, he sent me the receipt for the eye exam and said he would let the doctor know I want my prescription. This was now 8 days ago.I don’t feel confident to purchase my glasses with them because honestly i shouldn’t be chasing them as the customer. But it’s frustrating I will have to go to another place to get an eye exam AGAIN because Eyes On Burrard has lost the art of customer care.Super disappointing as I have a family friend who’s worked for Eyes On for years and always spoke highly of them, and I wanted to support her.I do not suggest coming to Eyes on Burrard location :(

Really awful customer service experience with Dr. Nasser. She wrote me an inaccurate prescription three times then provided me with no resolution Just a plain apology which in my opinion was insincere. Then on top of that the owner of the shop (I believe a Persian man) tried to oversell me a $1500 pair of glasses. These people are only about MONEY. I don’t recommend Eyes on Burrard unless you’re looking to get ripped off. These people simple do not care about your eyesight or your wallet. There are much much better eye wear stores out there to go to.Ps. I have not used my actual name to write this review... yes it was at this location. I have every right to write a review based on my experience without you trying to discredit me.
