A nice walk through the hills. Spotting birds in the woods was challenging due to the high canopy.

I just spent like an hour googling and google mapping this place trying to find an entrance and simply just can't find one. If you zoom in on google satellite street view it looks like there is chains, barbed wire and no trespassing signs all around the place. The closest entrance I found was behind Everest care or something which really leads you into Coldbrook Provincial park and not the bird sanctuary. This is pretty disappointing as I really wanted to check this place out and do some bird photography here and walk my pup but it basically looks like just a bush with chains, barbed wire and no trespassing signs all around it. Which really doesn't look very welcoming at all. I'll just go to Miners Marsh I guess. Even though I have been several times. If the owner is reading this. Please understand that anybody trying to find an entrance is going to attempt to google map this place and when you google map it, it looks like a horrible, hostile, unwelcoming and unfriendly place with zero access. Which obviously results in bad reviews and reputation and forces us birders to go elsewhere.

Beautiful spot to visit and go on a hike. The Brooklyn street side is DND, no trespassing. The Kentville side is where you want to be.This is why you see some people giving low ratings.

No clear way of getting to it, we had to ask directions which lead us to a car park at the back of a nursing home with a small path leading to the gauntlet of mosquitos which bite you through your clothes. We gave up looking for the lake and birds pretty quickly, deciding not to be a moving banquet.

The Google Map is somewhat misleading. The trails are accessible from the Cornwallis River Greenway (rail trail) You want to be on the south side of the River. There is a small parking area by the Seniors Residence. alltrails.com maps are better. A lovely walk through mostly sandy pine woods terrain.

Was pointed at by a stranger, couldn't figure out why. The birds are present, the red squirrels are loud and throw half eaten nuts at you, but the chipmunks are cute. Come check it out for yourself!

The entrance shown on Google is misleading and brings you to the inaccessible back of the park; I always enter from Baden Powel.Lovely large park, no marked trails but are easy to follow as they’re well-used. The woods are beautiful and you rarely bump into anyone. My dog loves it, many curious smells and sounds!

Great fast rolling mountain bike trails tucked in amongst the double track and trees. The entrances to the bird sanctuary and trails aren't well marked.
