Our experience with Hime Instead has been exceptional. They have seamlessly moved from occasional care to more whenever needed. Great communication throughout and very responsive over email.The care workers have been amazing - patient, calm and so supportive.I have only good things to say and as a HCW myself, I speak from experience.

The staff are always friendly and professional, and they really are interested in the well-being of the clients. Have only had positive experiences thus far with the homecare we set up for our neighbour. Home Instead
Home Instead has been visiting with my mother-in-law for the past 2 years. Due to my husbands career, we had to move from Nova Scotia, and my mother-in-law wanted to stay in her own home - without Home Instead this wouldn't be possible. Her caregivers do a wonderful job taking care of her. They help her with all of her needs, make nutritious meals and keep her house clean and update us on any changes in her health. They are very reliable and great with communicating any changes. Thank you to the caregivers and staff of Home Instead for all you do.

When my dad had a stroke and my mother was not able to live alone I reached out to Home Instead from my home in Florida and they had 24/7 care in place for my mother by 8:30pm that evening (and it was a holiday weekend). Such peace of mind until I could get there to care for my mother and support my father's recovery. So appreciative of the kind services of the caregivers. Even though I am in Canada now for several months we are still using services from Home Instead so I can go out and run errands without worrying about my mother being alone. Thank you.

We have been using Home Instead for my mom's home visits for a while now and they have been incredible. The helpers who come to spend time with her are kind and patient and have the necessary skills to navigate whatever challenges arise. Since I have not been able to travel to NS to see my parents during the covid-19 crisis, it gives me peace of mind knowing Home Instead continues to be there on a regular basis delivering the same high standard of service. It's comforting to have established a positive rapport with staff members who communicate in a timely manner. My family and I are grateful for the high quality of home care that is monitored on a regular basis.

This company advertises on television that your loved ones are safe in their care.That was not our experience.With Home Instead located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.Our elderly family member was abandoned by one of their employees, and this resulted in the death of our loved one.
