Long Island Aquatic Club
Overall was expensive and had to use cash or cheque for whatever reason, is this the 80's? Frustrating difference in treatment between members and non-members. Didn't feel welcomed at all by the members, like I was a nuisance. Staff were welcoming but seemed very busy and overworked. Would not recommend to anyone seeking a relaxing day.

Beautiful location on the shore of the Rideau river. A great place to spend a summer day. The staff members are hard working, helpful & polite. The pool offers swimming lessons for children of all ages as well as a swim team. My children benefited tremendously from swimming daily with the excellent coaching provided.

Lovely outdoor pools and lounging area. Absolutely love the adult swimming pool. All pools are heated and light snacks are available at the canteen.

It was the worst experience ever. My daughter was kicked out of the adult pool even though she was 18 because she didn't have her ID on her. No one carries their ID to a pool. We attempted to be polite and abide by their wishes so she sat on the edge and then she was kicked out of sitting on the brick surrounding the pool. This was done by a very rude and obnoxious life guard named Shannon who refused to refund our money or do anything about the situation. I quote these are our rules

Wonderful and friendly staff, as an older member of the community I appreciate the positive attitude and kind from the staff. Will definitely be looking into getting a membership for the future. I loved the atmosphere of the pool, great scenic view, super relaxing way to spend the day. Very decent prices for all the snacks very attentive lifeguarding making a great environment for all ages and swimming abilities.

Confirmed a day ahead and guy said if you show up at 11am you are guaranteed. So we drove an hour the next day to get in and when we got there they told us no admission for non members. I don't know but it seems it's no way to run a business. I guess for members it's great. Would I become a member? Probably not it wasn't a convincing experience.

This is a great place to bring the whole family. They have amazing staff and a great snack bar. Over all this is a great place.
