BMO Bank of Montreal

Try to finding out some information about my friends account to how to active his account again, cuz they are back home in China . I went to the branch today and ask for help is there any way my friends can get a hold on any financial advisor or anyone to help my friends out with his account. The lady on the front just tell me to google it the number to get a hold to the BMO, very unprofessional at all , finally after I ask her few times after I need a number for my friends to get a hold to the financial advisor or someone who can help us about the account, she told me to call the number behind back on the debit car number. I mean come on we need get a hold on the financial advisor not a 1-800 number again. I just try to find the way for my friends to get hold over the financial advisor useless information. Lucky I’m not a BMO user and will never be

If you like to watch paint dry this is the place to bank. Never more than 2 tellers working at an average time of 5 minutes plus per customer. 3 others in line since I walked in. Why can I get though RBC, TD or any other bank in a few minutes and this branch is on a Sunday stroll. Airport security goes faster and is more enjoyable.

Once again my mother had to push her walker over an entrance that wasn't shoveled. This is not the first time this has happened

Trying to talk to an actual human being in the branch, is next to impossible when you phone in. I have called and selected reception/customer service and not once have they ever picked up, no matter what time of day. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Totally agree with Alysia Morin. Viktoriya Kutsenko is the worst banker I've met at this branch. She is not competent at her job. She doesn't give professional financial help but just likes to persuade you to do investments. She is not even knowledgeable. Just want to remind, she would not disclose all the options for you, so be careful. She also ignored some of your emails. I dealt with her a couple of times. I don't know how BMO could have such kind of person to offer advice.

They do everything they can to help you through the rules of big banking. They are knowlagble and work as a team to help you. I suggest if you have a problem with your banking to be nice and treat the staff how you would want to be treated.

I will never deal with BMO again. I applied for a student loan the day I was accepted into my program, and told them I was needing a loan ASAP because I was accepted the day my program started. Right from the start Viktoriya ( the lady I dealt with) was difficult to work with and wasn’t very eager about helping me. I had to call the branch numerous times to check in on how the application was going and every time I got the run around and was told “ I’ll call you when I find out”. The first time she didn’t even remember who I was. A month later and She just called my mom, and told her she wouldn’t be able to co-sign on my student loan but wouldnt give a reason.Just told her she sent an email, which she did not. Absolutely ridiculous. I am at risk of having to drop out of my program now because this lady took her time and refuses to give any information that was needed.

I was told there that because I am not a permanent resident I cannot open a TFSA account with them and my options are pretty limited. They couldn't tell that to me on the phone when I was explaining why I would like to schedule an appointment, they told me that only when I came to the office. Not impressed. Will recommend against this bank to the people I know.

Ever since this branch went under new renovations in 2021 it’s been a pleasure to use. Before it felt very old school where as it’s super modern now. Tellers have always done a good job at helping as fast as they can and staffing seems to have improved over the last couple months. Usually easy to get an appointment or get in and out when needed. The wait time for BMO over the phone is usually insane so this branch does a good job of helping where they can. Not an excuse for BMO - please fix your phone wait times.

Probably the worst Regina branch with terrible process workflow.Visited the branch on Saturday. There has been one! Only ONE customer service representative at the branch. Only one person serving the central (on Saturdays), West, South, and South West areas of Regina! One person to serve so many people. I have been told that this branch has only one CSR on Saturdays. This is not a one time thing, but a norm.Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager - please look into this. This is a terrible process work flow and it's not possible to serve so many people with ONE person!
