We waited almost 2 hours and received no food or drinks.There were not enough staff for the overcrowded restaurant. We ordered coffee and water and got neither. We watched other tables get drinks before us, and they arrived well after we did. There were a few reservations for Mother's Day but lots of walk-ins, and besides drinks, no one was getting much of anything.I do not blame the staff, this is a management issue, and they need more help. There should not be a brunch special on Mother's Day if you will not bring in enough staff to accommodate. Extremely disappointed and unlikely to return in the near future.

Awesome experience at Johnny's. Perfect place for a family outing or a take out pizza. Steak Sandwich was awesome. Also have an event room whish seem used alot!

My third time here and it has become my favorite place to eat. I just love the atmosphere and the food is absolutely incredible. They also offer brunch every Saturday and Sunday!! Get out and support local. The eggs Bennie was perfect and my wife had the best clubhouse she ever had. What are you waiting for?? Go today!!

Place is quite beautiful, everything is clean and new, was here in the daylight so hard to tell what it's like at night. The service was great.The food was so-so. Hot chocolate was amazing! The signature Johnnys burger had no sauce on it, the sweet potatoes seemed like they were out of a bag and the dip wasn't like regular sweet fries dip. Chicken club was pretty good and the regular fries were great with some seasoning salt on them.

Stopped in for breakfast here this am, and it has a great atmosphere, great service, and tasty food. I had the steak and egg special, and the steak was very tasty, eggs were perfectly over easy, rye toast was yum, and the hashbrowns were the best potatoes I've had lately. Definitely coming back.

What a wonderful addition to the Athabasca food scene. There are so few good options for dining out in Athabasca and Johnny's Eatery is a welcome and much needed addition. The restaurant is well appointed and has a great atmosphere complimented by the excellent staff and service. Remember that there is parking accessed from the back of the restaurant which is very convenient, safer, helpful and avoids dealing with parking on a main road. The food is excellent and Johnny's Eatery has become my first choice for dining out (breakfast, lunch and dinner) when in Athabasca on business.

Cool place. Young dude serving us was fine and polite. My kids and I were the only guests at our time. I had a burger it was excellent, daughter had pouting it was excellent and huge. My son had nachos, also very good. I don't like here but I would totally demolish one of these burgers again when I'm in athabasca again! You should eat here the whole menu sounds appetizing.

We stopped by fluke bc the pics on Google maps looked good and it did not disappoint. There are fun games you can take to the table for the kids (that actually have all the pieces) like I spy, tic tac toe etc.Service was great, friendly and fast.Food was DELICIOUS, honestly the best burger and fries I had in ages. I wish I took a pic. Fries are hand cut and seasoning was addictive. Burger was homemade and juicy. Fresh lettuce and tomato with sauteed onions.The lettuce wrap my daughter had on special was great. Good amount of chicken and not too much sauce. And my youngest had the kids chicken strips which was a good portion for kids.Overall great experience, atmosphere is bright and clean. We are already talking about making the hour and 20 mins again on a day trip just to come back. Would eat here again for sure.

Nice service and clean resturant. Food was Awosme & resonable prices. Worth to try it whenever you drive through Athabasca town, Alberta
