National Bank

Worst bank experience ever. The advisor was not trying to help me at all and asked silly questions. Getting information from her was like squeezing the toothpaste so I was not the customer there - I was serving the advisor instead. Terrible and ridiculous, super unprofessional and incompetent.

I visited this branch back in July to pick up a draft from car loan for an overpayment. I had to wait so long for them to look for this specific draft in my name, and they ended up giving it away to someone else or misplaced it. There was a short, Caucasian lady with blonde hair saying that she would send it in a courier mail to my workplace address for the inconvenience. It is now mid October. Nothing has been sent nor have I received it. Is it because I do not have an account with your bank? I called this branch to follow up a few days ago, one lady answered the phone, she said she would call back, and again nothing. I will take this up with the head office as I do not have the patience to deal with the branch level.

Best experience in this branch. I am working for this branch as a security guard.Staff is very cooperative and cool. They respect and are very friendly all. Especially the receptionist is awesome. She welcomed all with smile.

Worst investment bank in Ontario!They set me up with a 6 figure mutual fund over 5 years ago. After questioning why my safe portfolio has decreased 5% in value they say the financial advisor back then didn’t select the right product to invest in. Asking how to fix it they want me to divert the money into something else to make up for things with no guarantee. Why should I risk my money for a mistake their employee made? No real solution to fix things just trying to set me up with another product of theirs.All other funds have been up in this time but their own National Bank fund is down.Guess where the employee put my money?Stay away from this bank and invest in other institutions which have qualified investment management personnel who stand behind their product and services.

National Bank of Canada is the worst bank in the world. Everything is out dated and they charge you their customers for everything. For example I just wanted to cancel pre-authorized check from a company and they have charged me $60 for it!!!! The best bank I have ever dealt with was TD Bank and RBC .

Seriously? How about actually looking to make things easier for your loyal client rather than finding difficulties. Read the account before you ask ridiculous questions that you could answer yourself if you actually tried to figure out your own system. You were just absolutely obstinate for no good reason. I am the customer and you are the service provider. Provide some service.

Awful! Avoid this location if you can't avoid this bank at all, absolutely unprofessional, I have dealt with Anita which seems to be in rush to finish our conversation. She promised to call me regarding a security problem, she never did.

I have banked with the National Bank for over 25 years. Over that time, people come and go which is normal, but the kind and thoughtful staff, with their attention to detail has never disappointed. No doubt the management team had led by example, because retail banking has never been more pleasing. From being greeted with a smile (Thx Angela!!!) to my favorite staff (Mary and Sharon). You guys are the best! Thank you for taking care of me and both my business and personal banking needs.... literally for decades!!!
