Ok, it's one step up from a parking lot, but the people are friendly and they took us in on Canada Day weekend when everything was full. The town is very walkable and has lots of fun shops. Bathrooms are clean and warm. I love the fact that the campground is a non-profit, run by the Lions Club, all proceeds are folded back into the local community.

I’m surprised for any negative reviews here- we stayed 1 night and found the property so clean and pretty. The people that checked us in were friendly and very helpful in getting us to our spot. Great big spots and well maintained. There’s a great walking /cycling trail and it goes a long ways beside the river and trees. We would definitely stay here again.

was handy to visit kids in Okotoks. full hook ups plus washrooms, garbage cans, fire rings and paved roads. right in town and on the river. nice host. as most rv parks in Alberta, we found it very expensive to stay here

If I could give zero stars I would. We did not stay at this campground but came to use the sani-dump. Spoke to a kind lady on the phone. When we pulled in we missed the stop sign. Our mistake for sure. Was a long, hot weekend a d we were very tired headed home. But the man attending the office yelled at us because we missed the stop sign (by a meter) and then several more times. My husband had to roll his window up. Super confrontational man. I should add that the stop sign serves no safety purpose. It's to get people to stop at the office before going further. We were going 10km/h. We told him that it was not ok to treat people that way and then he refused to let us use the dump. Based on the other reviews we read afterward I would not recommend coming here. Apparently this is a regular issue with this man.

Wonderful campground, amazing seasonal hosts that were very helpful! We stayed in site #44. Cost was $40/night FH access to showers with on demand water heaters. Quiet even though off road. Fire station near and small markets that you can walk too. Will definitely be back again!

Place not too bad. Two sets of couples look after the place. One of the gentlemen is extremely nice, a pleasure to do business with, he always has a smile on his face.Be aware of the other couple, they share the duties in running the place, but act superior and very rude.If you have a question or concern regarding the site they placed you on, they get very aggressive, arrogant and rude, and have no problem telling you your money doesn’t Mean a thing to them.Even though we pre-booked from the beginning of June to mid September, they placed our 26’ trailer ( 30’ with the hitch and gas bottles) on the smallest site in the entire camp ground, right next to the office and dump station. The polite fella couldn’t believe they put us there, but we let it go, not wanting to cause any upset. But the second time (August 15-16) we questioned it, and voiced our disappointment. To which we received a nasty phone message and text which told us if we didn’t like it we could take a hike, go down the road, that they didn’t care how much money we had already spent staying there and they had cancelled all of the rest of our bookings.Extremely unprofessional and absolutely Zero customer service abilities. We took our concerns to the Lions Club only to find customer service is not a practice of there’s and told us we were not allowed back. The only way I could post this is if I put a star up there, but believe me the only one I’d give a star to is Steve.Three cheers to Steve

Do not stay here. This review is based strictly off my experience with the camp host. Upon check in I was greeted and assisted by a lovely lady. At time of registration, I asked if it was a problem for a second person to stay with me at my site on one of the nights I was registered. She said that was no problem. I checked in, got my wifi password and was assigned my spot in the parking lot to access the open tenting area (there are no actual tents sites) for $30 a night. The second night my guest and I arrived and within 5 minutes of parking an aggressive man approached me. He did not introduce himself but came up speaking very abruptly and told my guest he would have to leave or pay to stay the night. He did not ask if he was even spending the night and it was still well during public access hours. I did tell him I had spoken with the lady at check in and she said no problem. He then began to raise his voice and become confrontational. He demanded that my friend get registered immediately. Neither of us said anything to him other than yes sir no problem" which made him even more angry. So

We made our way there after a weekend camping in K-country. It is convenient for us to use their sanitary facilities to clean out our RV's black and Grey water tanks. Great service too. Very friendly.

We use this facility for dumping and sometimes filling and dumping. The staff are always welcoming and polite. Since we live in the community we don't camp there but we are so appreciative that we are able to use their filling and dumping station. Thank you Lions Club!
