Horrendous customer service by the management team. After weeks of communication with management they could offer no solutions or any reasonable answer for my issues. The branch manager is sadly useless.I’ve had to escalate outside of the branch.Judging by the previous reviews this is not an isolated incident. Scotiabank needs to serious consider replacing the management team.All that said, the tellers are nice. I feel bad for them.

In my personal experience, the bank manager Aida Resendes, did not care enough for our business. We have chosen to stay with our current banks (Cibc & Rbc). We feel based on her minimal actions that Scotia Bank and this branch in particular don’t carry the same level of professionalism and customer service expected.

We originally worked with a broker who recommended Scotiabank. They don't seem organized. I have no plans to renew my mortgage with them. I told them I was thinking about moving all my stuff from CIBC but I am glad I didn't. Honestly the tellers are there to help you with what they can but the buck/accountability stops there.

Needless to say, after my visit at the bank today I will be withdrawing all funds and moving my finances to another financial institution. I visited the bank today to do a small transaction of switching $80 of $5 bills to larger denominations and the teller refused to serve me without giving my bank card because she said she needed my personal information to put the transaction through. I am old. I have been banking with scotiabank for years and also in my line of work I have had to visit the major banks daily and trade cash for larger or smaller denominations and have never been asked for a card. These new bank policies I don’t support. I have been trading cash with the bank for years without having to give my personal information. Cash is king and must remain so.Another thing to mention is the teller I dealt with was rude and had an attitude from the beginning even with the tone of voice she used to say “can I help you here.” I’m a visible minority and you can get the feeling when someone is looking down at you. Thankfully the lady at the teller next to me said I have some 20s, I’ll trade you! So I did get served in the end. :) Thankyou.

I visited this Branch today I was having appointment with Cody Vitorino and when I reached there they informed me that it’s being switched to Mandy Raymond the advisor on information desk . I asked I never received any email regarding that and then the lady Mandy mentioned that he is busy … so she started helping me and I was just standing nearby the desk whole time … I asked her can we discuss info privately in office and she asked is there any issue in standing here , they don’t care about someone’s privacy at all . Worst experience ever they are not organized at all … And Cody was just roaming around and I am not sure why they didn’t helped me and didn’t care about customers privacy will never visit again

Staff are friendly and warm! I went into the bank today to deposit some chequea and the teller, Lisa, changed my account from Basic Banking to the One account and ended up saving me $30 a month in service fees - wonderful!! Thank you, Lisa!!
