Food is super fresh and delicious at a decent price. It's very filling. It is a good place to stop for a bite to eat. The retro vibe of the dinner is awesome. And the staff is impeccably friendly. For those that don't know, this is the diner in the first episode of the last of us.

One of the best places to go. Great food, the staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and a great diner atmosphere. It's worth driving from Calgary to get a bite to eat and a dessert.

This is one of my most beloved hometown places. I returned to town after a few years away at university and wanted to bring my partner to this place. The food (as usual) was amazing. However, I couldn't help but feel like the servers were incredibly judgemental and cold. Perhaps they were extremely busy, but they were very short with us and it felt like we were annoying to them.I'll definitely return, but this experience definitely dampened some otherwise warm memories.It's very inaccessible for wheelchair users and plus size people now that they have added a tiny middle two person booth row.Parking in downtown High River is horrible. This is not the fault of Memory Lane, it's just really tough to find a close place to park.

We pulled off the highway to grab gas and decided to find a place to go eat, Evelyn's was on Google. Who doesn't love a cute diner?! We popped in.. and we were Wowed! It's so vintage, antique-y and exciting! There is a train that runs around the restaurant ceiling and my 2 year old daughter just loved it. A juke box, and individual mini juke boxes at each table, that work! Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, the food was AMAZING! Homemade and delicious. We will definitely be back!

This was a cool place to have lunch. We came as fans of HBO's THE LAST OF US because it's featured in the first episode. The toy train that circles the restaurant overhead even has a little Joel and Ellie character as well as a Bloater and Clickers, a fun little touch for TLOU fans. Feedback: they were very slow service. We were often just left alone. The bathroom is all gender, which I liked, but it didn't have any soap in it!

Great staff, and delicious, healthy food. Bread pudding was delicious and Morgan our server was terrific. Highly recommend & worth the drive from Calgary

Had a very good lunch here. It took a bit to have a drink brought over, and orders taken, but after that, the service was good, and the staff were friendly. Would definitely return!

Went in for lunch. Noticed staff eating behind food preparation main counter. Floors were dirty at the time counted 5 staff on shift. Most standing and chatting. Back area near restroom was filthy. Multi layers of sticky dried spills on floor near large cooler cabinet. Food cabinet was very dirty. We turned around to leave and noticed to 8×10 slabs of what appeared to be lasagna on backwall counter uncovered not in cooler not sealed, just sitting there out in the open. Found out that the old owner had sold it to a fellow by the name of Dave. Wow unless you really care about your business your staff is a reflection of the owner. Will certainly never return. If the health inspector was in on that day your establishment would have been closed until it proved to be thoroughly cleaned. I have been leaving reviews for years. Not very often do I leave a 1 star rating as this can be a severe impact to a business. I take alot of pride in leaving honest reviews without any fancy pictures , just straight up honest points that I think will assist consumers left without malice!

This dinner is everything!! An absolute must when in High River. The service was exceptional! The gals working there were super sweet and really engaged my bf who was just blown away by thier ice cream...which was phenomenal btw. The banana split was insane - you can choose which of thier homemade ice cream you'd like in it,but good luck choosing, they all look amazing! The food is insane and all looks so delicious. Plus, there are quite a few vegetarian options.The decor is so darn cute and just how you'd expect a dinner to look. We will definitely be stopping in on our way back through. Thank you for the amazing service

5 of us enjoyed a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, quiche, and, of course, desserts. Left fully satisfied and planning to return if we get back to High River. Excellent service and tasty homemade" food. Thanks."
