Amazing comedy shows held in the basement. 10/10 would recommend for a fun night out. The whole vibe is very NY City like and it's amazing to see the effort put in here. The bar also serves solid food options too!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here since their early days and never once have they been a disappointment. If it’s a packed room or just the two of us and two other people, they still put on an amazing show and ensure that everyone is having a great time. My boyfriend and I have also become friends with the owners and they are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and are always so happy and grateful whenever we come and bring other people. They have never failed when making us feel welcomed. Not to mention, the food there is delicious, especially their poutine. Whenever we go to the city to see a comedy show, we come here. If any of our friends ask us about a good comedy club, we tell them about Backroom. 10000/10 would definitely recommend.

I went through to Backroom Comedy with a group of expat friends on a Sunday night and absolutely loved it! We enjoyed the intimacy of the venue which allowed us to get involved in some really good banter with the comedians! The stand up list of comedians were awesome and shared some really memorable comedy that I still quote today! Thanks Ariel and Team! :)

Backroom Comedy Club
Had a pleasure of stopping by this comedy club this past Saturday. It was an intimate sized room with great vibes. I’m here in Toronto from Philadelphia, PA,USA with someone . And well definitely always stop by here when we’re in town if you never been to a show or not sure where to go, this is it. Good raw talent from various comedy with really unique styles.

I went 2 weeks ago and had such a fun time! The acts were all great and gave me a good laugh- and it’s hard to get me to laugh out loud sometimes! So kudos to them:) great talent, great atmosphere, and great host as well. I will definitely be going back soon :)

Great space, even better comics! Love seeing how much this place has grown over its first year- these guys are dedicated to making this Toronto’s newest go-to comedy club! The vibe is great and the shows are priced well for the variety of comics they have in. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who likes stand up!

A friend and I went to a show on Wednesday night on a whim, we had such a fun time! All the comics were great and the host was really funny as well! 10/10 would recommend for a fun evening out!

Had a great time, went to see one of my favorite comedians (Will Burkart), openers were also good. Small, intimate venue. Drinks are a bit over priced ($15 for a cocktail)

Had a great time at Backroom Comedy Club for a date night a few weeks ago. An intimate atmosphere, the lineup was great, and the hosts were fantastic. Impressed with the experience all around and will definitely be heading back again. Thanks for an awesome show and experience!

I visited the Backroom comedy club on a Saturday with a friend and we were all laughs!They had an exciting line up of comics.The place is a complete vibe with a bar upstairs!Would love to come again and check out some more shows!Thanks for a great time!
