I met Andrew today at Waterloo Appliance after having a very informative talk with him on the phone yesterday. I had been misled my another appliance repair company who told me I needed an evaporator cover and fan for my fridge. I took the part in to Waterloo Appliance where Andrew tested it and said it was working fine. He was extremely helpful and patient in explaining the workings of my fridge. And he saved me a LOT of money. Thanks Andrew! I will recommend your services in the future!!

I had Waterloo Appliance service our oven after receiving an unbelievable quote from another company. The technician took the time and effort to find the root cause of the issue, while being willing to frankly discuss what he thought was wrong.As one who normally likes to fix things myself, I appreciated this approach. To get 5 stars, have the part in stock (not sure if that's reasonable or not.)

A year ago we had a fridge problem and called one of those 24/7 repair services with a fancy website. Their guy came and said the compressor and mainboard were fine, we just had dirty coils, and the problem was now solved. But it wasn't. He came back a second time and now said we needed a new compressor and coils.That's when we concluded we needed a second opinion, and contacted Waterloo Appliance Service (which does not have a fancy website). Their technician James came and spent much more time than the other guy, explained everything he was doing and why, and correctly identified the problem (the mainboard).This weekend, we had a problem with our stove. Waterloo Appliance Service is only open on weekdays, but it's totally worth waiting for them. Their technician Jason came and guessed what the problem was, discovered he was exactly right, and had brought the necessary replacement part with him. Like James, he was also a pleasure to talk with: friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.Waterloo Appliance Service is a company you can trust!

Jason was super helpful when our dishwasher went down... He showed up and was like a dishwasher whisperer" as he put he ear against the machine and (correctly) diagnosed the problem within 2 minutes. He returned a week later and quickly replaced the part. He was patient with my questions and super helpful with explanations. Highly recommend Waterloo Appliance Service."

This is the second time (different problem) I have had Jason come and repair our 1978 Maytag suds saver washer. I love my washer and do not want to see it end up in a landfill. Jason has been able to service it (because they purchased Bate’s Maytag parts inventory when they closed), to keep it running well. Jason and Waterloo Appliance are knowledgeable, efficient, responsive and they know their stuff! Highly recommended. I have no hesitation in calling them and trust their advice.

Repairman arrived near the beginning of the promised time window. Quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered part. Returned as promised, installed the part (failed relay that kept the fridge from shutting off) and our fridge is now working like new. I definitely recommend them.

I contacted Waterloo Appliances on a Friday, same date of a found leak in my washing machine. Staff was diligent and honest that due to being busy, they’d be unable to attend until Monday. I was willing to wait as not an emergency and glad that I did! Service technician, Jason, was very professional and tidy. Jason arrived within time frame given and was efficient in finding and fixing the washing machine. I highly recommend Waterloo Appliances for their honest, top-notch service and staff! Worth waiting for! Will definitely call again.

The service from start to finish was excellent. We had an older model subzero fridge with two drawer freezer that we expected to have to replace. The technician was polite and knowledgeable and figured out the problems, ordered the parts and was able to rebuild and repair our built in fridge/freezer. The service person, Jim Macphee, did more than we hoped. He was respectful of our home and even contended with small children curiously watching him from time to time. We have used Waterloo Appliance Service for other needs in the past and will continue to do so. I highly recommend this business and this technician.
