Taste of Mediterranean

My wife and I love Greek food, the establishment on Dundas St in Whitby Ontario is fantastic. The service was prompt even with online order hitting them fast and furious. The food options are relegated to optimize fast service, however delicious as well is fair portions for value. The team behind counter was happy and smiling and greeted us when we arrived.If looking for a great, quick meal, give these folks a try

FRESH food.. delicious!! Worth every penny. Salad excellent.. chicken moist and flavorful. Generous portions. Can't wait to eat there again. Highly recommend!!!

Horrible service! I was with my family next door when my three year old needed to use the washroom. I rushed her in and asked if there was a washroom to which the owner responded rudely the washroom is only for customers. I said it's for my little girl and he said well you can use it if you buy something- water bottle or something. I had rushed her in not realizing my diaper bag was with my husband which had my wallet. He would not let my little girl use the bathroom. I was so appauled! I wouldn't care if it was for me but the fact that it was my little girl - he was so rude and insensitive. We were planning on coming by there after anyway for dinner but obviously decided against it. Will never be going there! P.s. upon talking with friends it was a good thing I didn't because everyone said their food is just as bad!

I have already become a regular customer of this place. Have tried everything and my favourite is the Dinner platter that had rice, potatoes, Greek salad and chicken souvlaki and I must say it is extremely delicious and healthy. Also the price is really reasonable I am glad there is a Mediterian restaurant in Whitby finally!

I gave this place a try. The portions are small, the taste is okay but man the owner is very frugal. You can tell that he is literally counting every piece of potato, grain of rice and piece of meat that he puts on your plate.I also tried the wraps....terrible. They use thin tortilla bread as opposed to pita bread.The restaurant is clean.At the end of the day, I would not recommend this location.

I wish i could give 0 stars, where to start to even remotely express my opinion about this restaurant. The chicken was like rubber, the tzatziki sauce salty. There was no flavor in the rice and the greek salad was mediocre. The people servicing were friendly enough but one of them kept hiding in the kitchen. Bland food, bland service, will not return.

I’ve been to this restaurant countless times, over 20 for sure, and not once was I disappointed with the service, or food. The portions are just the right amount, I usually get the chicken shawarma, and not once did it feel it was lack lustre. The bowls, and platters are also plentiful and make, not only a filling lunch, but a very filling, and delicious, dinner. Not only that, but the service is excellent. The workers are so friendly, and lively. Conversation and kindness are always present. Great food, great portions, great service. My business, at this establishment, won’t be going anywhere, anytime soon. 5/5 highly recommend.

Stay away from this place. The food is absolutely terrible. The chicken has a strange fishey taste to it and overall too salty. If you want proper greek food or somewhat decent tasting food do not waste your money. Also the owner is very rude and unprofessional.

I didnt have a good experience at all. They took the shwarma out of a plastic container and put it on the grill for a couple seconds. Tasted rancid to be honest. Wasn't fresh at all and the potatoes werent cooked. Quite disappointed.

Came for dinner tonight.We ordered 2 chicken schwarma combos ( 1 with potatoes, 1 with Greek salad.)The chicken was VERY dry, and had an unpleasant fishy aftertaste.It had been sitting in a steam table for far too long. It was like chicken jerky....There was no pickled turnips or other toppings I am accustomed to.They didn't even grill the wraps as is customary.The tomato sauce the potatoes were cooked in was a tinny. ( read out of a can) tomato sauce. The Greek salad was pedestrian (C'mon tinned olives?)The staff were friendly enough, although very inexperienced.Wouldn't come back.J
