Friendly staff, good hours, poor cell reception. Overall it is one of my first stops for home improvement.Ask about discount sections. You can often find new tools and hardware at steep discounts in obscure corners of the store.

I like this store, have been there a lot. No issues with returns other than extended waiting for approvals on occasional. Sometimes stock isn't accurate as shown online and they don't have what I need. Sometimes hard to find help on the floor and sometimes online pickup takes longer than you'd hope but the new lockbox bins make it faster for small orders.

Just had a wonderful experience with Honni whilel purchasing paint. She was incredibly knowledgeable, listened to our questions and made suggestions based on our needs. She did a perfect color match to our existing paint and was overall super friendly. We are so grateful to have found a paint expert!

Had 1 item & used self check-out. Had to make multiple attempts for card to work, OK, that happens. Then when it finally did work and I replied about just wanting a printed receipt, some obscure part of the screen held me up longer, asking if I wanted to add a job number to my receipt. If I had a job number, I'd have gone to the contractor desk. Ridiculous waste of time for 1 small item.

Nobody who works there knows much info about anything in the store (last few visits have seemed anyway) let alone knowing much about what you’re looking for. No offence to the people that work there!! I just think they should be better equipped to answer questions about tools and hardware when they work at Home Depot. ? Just my opinion.Otherwise the customer service department and the power tool guy were very helpful and solved my issue with the battery malfunctioning on a Ryobi hacksaw I bought there a couple months earlier. :)

Great home depot that has everything.Lots of friendly staff available to help. I walked to the garden center by myself. I qA immediately greeted by a very polite female staff member on a Wednesday evening. I was I treated in the large umbrella display. She said it is on a clearance price and came back to tell the price. I made room in my hatchback and she kindly assisted me to my car and helped pack it. Cashiers are very happy to greet and say goodbye here. I will return here again!!!

The staff and management of the Chilliwack branch continue to make me a raving fan and reinforce the fact that this is one of my favourite places to shop. There was a time-sensitive issue with a delivery from another store that they assisted in resolving to my delight. This was just one more example of how they go above and beyond. Everyone who works at Home Depot is very helpful! I find their prices super reasonable as well.However, I haven't been impressed with any of the plants I bought this spring, all or most of the plants had fungus gnats and needed to be cleaned. One Pothos is surviving well, one Pilea is hanging on for dear life, and the Velvet Alocasia is only now surviving after being switched to a water container.
