I stopped by after my first ever trip to Canada and hearing how it was a must stop.I don't carry purses. I don't wear perfume. I can't speak to the price comparison. The clothing is very limited, tourist targeted and I saw better prices on the ferry from Victoria back to the mainland. There is a ton of candy. The store has a lot of empty space and clearly shaped to funnel people one direction rather than allowing freely browsing. The alcohol was a tad cheaper than I'm used to. That said I usually purchase my liquor at Trader Joes and Costco in Washington and I can say if not for the exchange rate value difference, it wasn't worth a stop. I needed some Irish Cream anywho...so why not. I did purchase a small batch bourbon I can't find locally and is rated one of the top 25 best across the board. There is coffee and tea as well as baked goods avail...basically a duty free Starbucks. They did great on my London fog...better than average. Chai was average. There is a decorative fountain as you exit. There is a washroom for customers. There are some novelty sized liqour bottles which made me laugh. You can park and walk to the edge of the park on the south side of the store. If you walk to the edge, there is a gap between trees where you can see the peace arch and get a distance selfie. You can't get close until you are through the boarder. Then there is an exit for it immediately. All around, worth a one-time stop.

Worst duty free, no customer service skills, no smile on their faces. Employees are so rude and disrespectful. They are all gloomy to be there and don’t know how to deal with clientele. Would not recommend to anyone. No wonder it’s always dull.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! They sell teas which have expired for more than 1 year, what’s the heck. Be careful to check the best by date if you really want to buy something from here. They even refuse my request to return a product which doesn’t have the expiration date on it. -5 stars.

Always a good pit stop. I'll usually grab a bottle of alcohol but lately, I've been checking out the fragrances. The lady who works in that area was really sweet and helpful, recommending things based on what I said I like and don't like.

Like walking through a fancy international airport, you'll find all sorts of luxury goods that you can ill afford (perfumes, watches, etc), as well as your standard assortment of Canadian souvenirs (clothing, accessories, Maple-flavored everything), chocolates, candy (including some oddball versions of certain candies, like a variety box of mini Tic Tacs, or an oversized roll of Mentos), chips, crackers, cookies...you get the idea. But you know why you're here: you're here for the cheap, tax-free booze. Don't lie to me. You know it's true. That's the only reason to stop here, other than last-minute souvenirs for all the people you forgot, or to kill some time while the line to cross the border dies down (seriously...WHY is it so much less efficient, crossing back into the US?!).

Don't buy perfume there! It is counterfeited!May 16th, 2023 I was traveling to the USA and bought at the Peace Arch Duty Free store the Tom Ford Ombre Leather Eau De Parfum in a 150ml size bottle for CAD 329.99. I like Tom Ford Leather and very often bought them. I opened this bottle and perfumed my-self. From the first second the smell was unusual, and beyond this did not keep more than 15 min, I began to be suspicious. When I came back home I was going over Internet, and found that:- there is no any mentioning Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum in a 150ml size, excluding Tom Ford Ombre Leather All Over Body Spray;- My bottle and package have many signs of counterfeit, i.e. material of box, surface of the bottle top, smell and so on.I've sent a request to the Tom Ford customer Service with the question: do you produce Tom Ford Ombre Leather Parfum in a 150ml size bottle?, and got the answer We do not carry the Ombre Leather Parfum in a 150ml size bottle."I was calling the Peace Arch Duty Free store May 17th and was talking to Elaina - perfume salesperson

It was very nice. Definitely not what I thought it would be. This was my first time at a duty free. Everything was very high quality and very high prices.
