The service Linda and her team provided went far beyond expectations, into the territory of ‘that doesn’t happen anymore’!I’d forgotten my summer tires were not in Wheaton storage, having given approval for their destruction fall 2022. I confidently, and mistakenly, told Linda to go ahead and install the tires from storage. Linda and others spent much time looking for the tires. When they realized the tires were no longer, Linda sourced a choice of 3 available sets of tires and advised they could be installed the next day.That would have met expectations. To my delight, I received a call late the same day - the Technician had stayed late to install the tires, the car would be ready first thing the next morning!If your friends complain about poor service, head them over to Wheaton. They will be astonished at the cleanliness, the team’s knowledge, and their dedication.

Great service. My car died at work, I had it towed in and was seen to quite quickly for having no appointment. They diagnosed the problem and replaced my battery fast and I was on my way. I was a little disappointed that the car was not washed as Marty said it would be by the time I did the pickup bit all is good and I was happy with the great customer service by everyone that I spoke too

Whatever you do do not purchase a car from this company. Whatever you do do not bring your car to this service department.I brought my 38 Chevy Master Deluxe four door sedan when I leased a 2019 Traverse. They kept my 38 for almost 6 months preventing me from using it for the business it was purchased for, a senior social mobility service to combat isolation and provide transportation. The Traverse had a Valet seat put in to assist the elderly with mobility challenges. I was denied the GM grant. I provided a source to purchase refurbished front shocks that I needed to use while the original shocks were refurbish. They left my classic car outside all spring and summer so when I came to pick it up in mid August all the chrome was rusted. The car would not start because of the damage done to the car by Wheaton. The car had to be taken to another mechanic to fix the damage done by Wheaton's service department.Wheaton has never tried to make good on the damages or even respond to requests to have my original shocks returned. It took them over a year to return my manual and magazine. As the statue of limitations has expired while I was doing hundreds of hours as a home health care giver during the pandemic Wheaton is not liable for the theft of my property or the damage it did to my fledgling company; that was meant to assist a segment of our society that need support.As I said at the beginning I cannot recommend to anyone a company so bereft of ethics as Wheaton. When I contact GM Canada they told me the theft by their agent was my problem. So it is not just Wheaton but General Motors Canada that cannot be trusted with the maintenance and respect of your property.The Limitations Act protects the wealthy and discriminates against the rest of us.I really like my Traverse and would never had made this post if Wheaton and GM had made ANY effort to resolve this matter.

Ted at Wheaton is the best. My friend is up in years and I wanted to make sure she had a positive experience buying a new car. We tried out a few places/cars some were better than others, but everything clicked when took out the Buick Envision with Ted. First off he did not pressure us to buy, we went to the dealership three times trying out vehicles, super patient and answered all our questions. Wheaton gave us a great price on her trade in, we left the dealership really happy. Ted walked us through everything, he makes it easy with no stress, and followed up with us both after the sale. Great service. Great SUV

I was dreading taking my vehicle for an oil change on my one day off, expecting a long waiting time and unexpected charges.... then Surprise!! Best service ever from john, who apologized that I had to wait 5 minutes. Seriously?I knew I had a bad tire and warned him that I was prepared to take it elsewhere. Besides the oil change, He took the time to find the leak and show me , tell me the best place to take it since I needed it done that day, and he was the only lube mechanic on the line that day. Amazing service John. Every previous experience at wheaton has been excellent. Surprised when people tell me to not go to the dealer.

I came in on a weekend to browse used trucks and had Cody Sutton helping me. He was great, showed me the vehicles I wanted to see and didn’t try to push me towards anything else. Gave me an in depth breakdown of options and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy when the deal closed. The finance team explained all options for extended warranties but also wasn’t pushy at all. This was a great experience and I would absolutely do business with them again in the future.

I would be wary of purchasing a vehicle from General Motors. Here is my experience. I bought an all electric Chev Bolt from Dave Wheaton GM in Feb 2021. In Sept 2021 they informed me that there was a defect which could result in a fire when the car was charged to full capacity and they would be replacing the battery as soon as parts became available. In December 2021 they developed a temporary fix to limit the charge to 80%, which I had done in Jan 2022. The permanent fix was a new battery.I was looking forward to getting the battery replaced because of the fire hazard and I had paid for a vehicle with a higher range of kilometres and felt limited by the restriction.In May 2022 I called for an update on my new battery. I was told I would be a priority for the next batch of batteries. I never heard back from them again.This April of 2023 (almost a year after being told I was a priority) I was told my battery was on its way. On June 21st I was informed that they would not replace the battery, but instead would install a software solution which would detect a battery fault over time. However the 80% charge limit would continue. The car would be actively monitored for 1 month: if defective, the battery would be replaced, if not, after 10,000km (!!) they would deem it safe (I guess) and it could be adjusted to charge to 100%. This means that I will not be able to fully charge my car until around June of 2024! I will by then have owned the car for 3 1/2 years and been able to fully charge it for only 10 months!!I contacted Dave Wheaton in Victoria where I bought the car. The manager tried to absolve himself by saying he can only do what GM instructs him to do. He was of no help whatsoever. He did give me the number to call GM in Toronto, who, by the way, were the people who told me I was a priority for the next battery way back in May 2022.I did call the number and although “they understood my frustration” (which they told me many times), they did absolutely nothing. No battery replacement, no compensation, nothing.So, here I am. I paid for a vehicle with an advertised driving range. With any luck, I may be able to fully charge it a year from now! They feel absolutely no responsibility for not delivering what they had promised though they very happily took my money.I would never buy a GM vehicle again and I highly recommend you do the same. If you have a problem, it will not end well.
