Always fast and friendly service at Markor Jewellers. My family has always purchased all their jewellery here, and every experience is always uniquely positive. The staff are very knowledgeable in their products and offer a wide range of information when shopping around for the right piece of jewellery.I bought my wedding band here and they went above and beyond in helping me find the perfect band, even offering to clean my engagement ring while they sized my band.I have also brought numerous pieces of jewellery here to be mended and they always surprise me with how quickly they can fix a piece. The last time I was in, I brought them a silver bracelet and necklace to be fixed - they quoted me a 2-week service period but had it fixed in a matter of 3-4 days.Best place to buy your jewellery, hands down, and also a great way to support our local shops.They also carry a few wall clocks and home decor pieces. Worth the trip out to Alfred to see what they have in store.

Very happy! I brought in my grandmother's engagement ring the middle Diamond had fallen out. I also had brought my mother's engagement ring as she gave me permission to use her diamond on my grandmother's ring they were quick to follow up and their prices are fair and justified. I would recommend and most definitely would go back for any jewelry inquiries.Thank you so much for your amazing work!

After my experience, I don’t even want to give this company one star! I had a terrible experience Oct 15, 2021, when I took my daughter’s necklace in to be repaired and they proceeded to do a stress test on it and break it into many pieces. Then, refused to fix the sections that THEY broke!!!

My husband has bought some beautiful objects and jewelry from this jewellers and we've never been disappointed first of all the personal are awesome and know what they are talking about and the owner is very hands on and that is marvelous we have nothing but praise for this jewlers and I would also like to say that some of our relative have also shopped theirvand again never been disappointed

It would be zero stars, if that were an option. My mother took my grandmother’s necklace into MARKOR Jewellers in Alfred to get it fixed. It was broken in one section. The owner’s daughter decided to do a stress test on it, and proceeded to quickly stretch it and break it into five pieces!! When my mother told the store owner that they had to fix it, he refused, saying it was too weak to solder. She told him she would pay for the original broken section, but not the sections the daughter deliberately broke. He said he wasn’t going to fix it and demanded she leave the store immediately and not to come back. They could have said they wouldn’t solder it because it was too weak, but instead they proceeded to break it 4 more times. It’s not an expensive necklace, but it has sentimental value, as it was my grandmothers.

OWNER IS A CROOK !We had a quote done for the cost of repairing my gold chain lobster clasp. Quote included polishing and return of my old gold pieces. The quote seemed reasonable. Once item was ready my wife went to get items . To our surprise the quote went from 299 to addition 89.99 for polishing which was included in quoted but later added charge. They also charged extra 179.99 for clasp connection . Then on top of that they didn’t give my gold pieces back that were verbally confirmed to be returned. The original clasp was much bigger and with the price of gold worth 500 roughly. This business is very shady and the owner is a total crook . I wouldn’t advise my worst enemy to go there.
