Joe and whole crew provide really spectacular service. They've cleaned our chimney a couple of times. Joe always takes time to explain things very clearly and answer questions. Most recently he came to check out a small issue with our chimney and didn't even charge us (as existing customers) for the hour+ visit to inspect the issue or the work to fix it. We cannot recommend Northeast Chimney Sweeps enough!

We have been burning wood for over 34 years, and Northeast has been servicing our stoves and cleaning our chimneys since 1988. The owner, Joe Albano, was a tech working for Northeast when we first met at our house in Wakefield. Several years later Joe acquired Northeast and became its owner/operator. Since day 1, I have found Joe, Brenda and their employees to be nothing short of excellent in every aspect of their business. They our prompt, courteous, proficient and absolutely thorough. Earlier this month Northeast to perform their annual cleaning (which they will remind you of, if you like). After 34 years I’m still receiving the same great service, same great result. I also had the good fortune of seeing Joe again, who stopped by a few days later just to make sure I was happy. Very happy with the service. Arrived on time, explained what they were doing, cleaned up after their work completely, left a nice report on the status of my chimney with some recommendations for when we might need future service. Prompt, courteous and efficient. Left my home spotless and fixed a problem that the former owners had lived with for years, not using their fireplaces because of clogging and buildup. Serviced two fireplace for $540.00 I am very happy with their work. I wish they would go to Hudson because I would love to have them clean out my brother's chimneys there! My brother hired a fly-by-night moron who walked in, said he couldn't do it, and walked out without giving him back his money! Northeast is very reliable and effective.

Joe came out to inspect my chimney following a cleaning and inspection by another company. I was worried about the price of the repair the other company quoted. Joe did a careful inspection, and very respectfully, never once criticizing the other company, showed me what was left undone in the cleaning, and inaccurate in the quote for repair work. He was professional, respectful, and pleasure to talk with. A few months later his son Ben came to clean the oil burner flue. Ben was also lovely, respectful, professional. Both men were incredibly efficient and neat in their work. Even before they came to my home, the communications from the NE Chimney office were clear, prompt, friendly, helpful. This company was recommended to me by neighbors who have used their services for many many years. I would highly recommend them, and am grateful I met them.

Could not be more pleased with the service and work of Northeast Chimney Sweeps on our wood burning chimney. From making the appointment to the actual sweeping, the communication was excellent and I knew what to expect. The work was top notch and the cleanup was spotless. Well done.

The workmanship by Northeast Chimney Sweeps done recently @ my home in Lexington was excellent. I was informed of what project would entail via their pictures of the site. A detailed quote explaining the process sent via email & verbally was most thorough. The quote was extremely reasonable. When told of the start date, it was kept, with workers presenting well & most friendly. I strongly believe that you would be very satisfied if you contracted with them. It is this true belief as to my recommending them to my son in Bedford & others who would inquire of me. Can’t go wrong!

It has been 3+ months since my inquiry, and while someone stopped by to take a look in April, it has been frustrating to receive any actionable follow up or quote since. I was told to expect a few weeks, but we’re now well over 90 days.I followed up with them 6 times since, and while they respond, we have made no progress towards a quote or estimate. I have done my best to wait patiently, but if you consider timing an important factor in choosing someone to work with, you may want to consider your other options.
