We loved this stay! Fred and Bert are amazing hosts. Bert's brunch was the best. Everything was clean, beautiful and so interesting. The garden was so peaceful. The dogs are absolutely lovable. Our first stop in Canada.

What an incredible Bed and Breakfast. Fred and Bert have a gorgeous home filled with antiques and collectibles. Their knowledge of the area is extensive and they shared lots of interesting info. The breakfast was scrumptious and beyond plentiful. Thanks so much for your hospitality.Roy and Colette

We were at the end of our vacation, tired after a long day, headed back to the US. Bert and Fred welcomed us into their comfortable place. From the moment we got out of the car, and were surrounded by their three friendly French Bulldogs, we felt right at home. The house is full of art, antiques and all sorts of whimsical touches. Did I mention bathrobes?Breakfast was delicious, but the best part was the free ranging conversation with these two great guys. This is a rare treat. We're going to come up with a reason just to go back and stay with them again.

Our stay at the coach house was truly magical. Fred and Bert were two of the most interesting people I’ve met. They were welcoming and gracious hosts. They elevate breakfast to a gastronomic experience. Everything is homemade and delicious. We felt very special from the moment we walked in. Their three French Bulldogs are adorable. Loved it and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

We stumbled upon Fred and Burt's Coach House via an internet search. While their labor of love may not be to all tastes, we all found our stay completely delightful. Their victorian house is indeed filled with art, artifacts, and attitude. I could have spent hours in the Asian-influenced bedroom just looking at the collection. The master suite and bath are all decked out in seaside style, and what I'll call the Victoria bedroom was elaborately styled in period decor. The bathrooms were modern and clean and had ample pressure and hot water making for a great wake-up. The three french bulldogs that live there were kept away from us until we mentioned we all loved dogs, then they came out to play on the ground floor only. So fun.But the real amazement came at breakfast. Our hosts prepared the most sumptuous meal at the formal dining table. One of our group was stupefied in amazement. Homemade, a huge variety, and delicious coffee. We stayed a night in transit from Boston to PEI and ended up staying again on our way back. Would recommend it to anyone who wants some real home hospitality and can roll with a bit of quirkiness and camp.

On our first visit, we felt more like we were staying with friends than in a B&B. So, of course, we stayed again when we were in St. Stephen and did become friends with Fred, Bertie and their fur babies. If you leave hungry after breakfast, it's your own fault. Bertie always puts out more food than you can eat. It's always quiet and welcoming.

The Hosts and 3 French bulldogs are amazing, with a breakfast we have never experienced before, it was scrumptious.Their knowledge of the areas made our conversation entertaining.Very charming house with an eclectic art and antiques to leave you breathless. My wife was like a kid in a candy store. It completely re-energized us after our long drive. It unexpectedly made us stop and smell the roses.A must stay location on your way through St. Stephens.
