Five Guys
Five Guys is probably the original higher end burger place that most Haligonians were comparing against our local versions. The burgers are quite good, and the fries are fantastic and plentiful. The prices are still fairly high for a burger and fries, but damn of it isn't good. Definitely worth checking out, or for quenching that desire for a harder to find US chain.

My first time doing the Halifax Five Guys. I've done it several times in the US. Decided to go with a classic to highlight the meat and bun ... lettuce, tomato, and ketchup. It's a good burger no doubt. Is it $12 good? Not really. Didn't do the fries or milkshake. Maybe another trip. Took forever to get served and it wasn't really busy. Staff didn't seem like they were having much fun. Felt like military oppression. Maybe trainees?

5 Guys are always consistent, and their portions insane. My girl and I avoided this diet buster but came up with a split loaded burger and large fries. We still couldn't finish the fries. Best burger in town.

It started out as a good place But Last 2 visits my bacon burger came without bacon . There is no heat in the dining area , your food goes ice cold in minutes. You don't need ice in the pop. Lol. OH and the music is way too loud. Completely takes the enjoyment out of the place. The fries are good and the burger was OK. Fries are the only reason we went back.

UPDATED - see below after first paragraph. ***We never ate it until we got home so it was cold by that time. It was still a good grilled burger. But I'll hold my official review and update this one until I have a hot one right there.***Update: Finally got to try a hot burger and fries in the restaurant. Fan-bleeping-tastic is all I can say! Fries are great as well, better than other fries when cold. Only had cold fries as couldn't eat them all with the amount of bag fries in there lol!! Grilled cheese had lots of cheese on it as well which makes up for it being a tad small where it's made with burger buns but it was really tasty.

Tiny little bit on the expensive side but these guys are prob paying rent like crazy for their location.The food is top notch. The burgers are amazing, the fries are scrumptious and they have ice cream and milkshakes like the old burger joints did.The service experts were courteous, friendly, and did their jobs well.We even got to sit in a booth like the old days. Right down to the checkerboard tiles in the place, this was an amazing place to have lunch on our 16th wedding anniversary.I highly recommend 5 Guys to anyone looking for food in the Supercenter.

As someone that has worked fast food.. it amazing to hear the manager cheer everyone on and tell them how good of a job they were doing. The communication was wild to see and hear. They killed it over a rush during supper time!
