We got 6 tapas dishes and the food is clearly just frozen and reheated.Ribs and the wings came out with cold pockets and the texture was all wrong. Croquettes were soggy mush and worst of all the deep-fried goats cheese had an over hard and crunchy coating and hardly any goats cheese inside.

Visited last night with my husband for the first time and we were not disappointed. Food was unbelievably good and the atmosphere was lovely. Will definitely be back again.

The cocktails are quite enjoyable. This one is called Despacito, which takes inspiration from the song. I found it to be quite good. However, it is worth mentioning that the food service can be a bit slow, so you may need to be patient when ordering your meal.

Picaderos is a quaint restaurant situation main street in Maynooth, conveniently situated in walking distance from the train station and on the bus route. We ordered the meat platter, muscles, and patella, which was finished at your table and was extremely tasty good-size portions. Staff are always friendly and they add to the good atmosphere experienced in the restaurant. Drinks are well priced, and they have a large range to choose from. Highly recommend Picaderos when in Maynooth.

I have been to Picaderos on a few occasions and the food is good and it's why I have went back. The service a bit off and on each occasion have felt rushed out by a male member of staff. On my most recent visit, I was on a date and told we had the the table for a 2 hour slot but were rushed to leave after 40 mins despite lots of empty tables. If the service was improved then it would easily be 5 star

Great food. The sharing plates are the way to go. Great atmosphere in the room with live music in the background...packed venue on a weekday evening. Will be returning asap....

Really enjoyed our family meal, food was very tasty and there was a good range of options on the menu. Staff were very friendly but a little hard to get hold of, hence the 3 for service. It's not a particularly atmospheric room but is still far better than some of the unit" restaurants. There's an outdoor area which on a nice day I'd say would be very pleasant. €13 for a small margarita is a bit steep

Authentic spanish and mexican tapas place with wide variety of options, you can have the tapas portion or main portion. One of my favourite tapas places in Ireland, and in the middle of a nice walk in Maynooth main street. The only problem was that the door was shutting with loud noise and no action was taken by staff, and some items were late to be served. Manager is very friendly and explained the situation, especially that other tables nearby faced the same issue. I would still recommend the place!

Delicious food, fast service and lovely staff.We chose a mix of dishes, and everything was perfect. I'd highly recommend the crispy goats cheese. It's so good!We will definitely be back.
