Waterton Glacier Suites

This is a heavily remodeled Motel with outdoor walkways and room entrances. We booked the Romantic Suite. Very nicely done room, but there are myriad rodents scurrying around above the ceiling drywall all night, and the fireplace made the room so hot we needed to keep the sliding door to the patio open. Parking lot views. Stay at the Prince of Wales instead.

Lovely modern decor but wish the air con was updated too as it was very noisy. Beds firm. Very clean.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with excellent service. Had a pasta special with pistachios, pancetta and a light cream sauce. Veal osso bucco was also delicious. New chef is very good and Mandy, our server was very friendly and attentive.

Excellent room and great customer service. We really enjoyed our stay. Would be excellent if the hotel provided continental breakfast as some restaurants are closed through the winter, but overall great hotel!

We had a loft suite and it was just not safe for a toddler. The door had just one latch that could easily be opened by a toddler, it did not have the additional chain lock or any other type of safety lock higher up. The deck had no railing!! This was shocking to us. One of the receptionists was extremely rude and raised his voice at my husband when we raised concern about an incident. They just were not helpful in any way. They refused to give us a cot for a baby as it was a safety concern for our room type (however the deck without a railing is not a safety concern!!)

Booked for a weekend at relatively short notice, and Pat helped set us up on the phone in just a few minutes and did things right the first time.Pat was also there to help us check-in and given the time of the year in Waterton, pointed us to the best possible options for gas and dining. Our room was splendid and well-appointed with a view of the mountains, while we have stayed at their sister property by the waterfront - which was quite nice as well - this was just a whole different experience; and we were glad that we chose to stay here off-season.It was lovely to chat with Pat during the day when we were passing through the front of the hotel for one of our many walks around the town. Polite and hospitable he is always willing to share more about the town and its surroundings.Check-out was simple and straightforward. No fuss.We look forward to being back.

Quality accommodation in newish building. Had a two room suite with comfortable bed and in other room a good sofa bed.Very good shower. Also connecting section had refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. Place to stay if eating out but not large enough for self catering. Staff friendly and helpful.

Bedding, mattress and linens are high quality. Very nice to have 2 sinks. Roomy for two people. A couple maintenance issues: the door makes a loud noise when opening/closing because it’s slightly jammed and the toilet seat wobbled… The courtyard needs some repairs too.

Stayed in a romantic suite. Room was large and beautifully furnished. Booked at the tail end of the off season and the price was amazing. Accidentally left a pair of earrings that were of sentimental (and monetary) value. Realized two days after check out. Called the hotel and they had them at the front desk and were able to mail them to me. Very, very happy to have them back and so glad for the hotel staffs honesty.
