Eagle Wing Whale & Wildlife Tours

So many whales!! We were so lucky to see a crazy amount of orcas and humpback whales the day we took the tour. We took the covered boat which was a good decision because it does get cold on the water even though the temperature was around 24°C. The four guides were always giving information and had great attitudes. We stopped twice for birthday balloon rescue operations (please stop buying and releasing these balloons).

Awesome sunset tour with Captain Brett and with Tom! Fun, easy going and very respectful of the whales and nature. Very knowledgeable and interesting stories (and jokes). The boat ride was amazing and the sunset was breathtaking. Truly an unforgettable adventure.

My wife and I had absolute blast with our crew last Thursday. The tour was awesome and even at the three jour mark were doing their best to make sure we had a fantastic time.It was informative, professional and most of all fun. I would recommend their tour to anyone that is travelling to Victoria.

By far the best adventure we went on. We chose Eagle Wing based on availability but we will recommend them to everyone.We expected a boat tour but the guide was the main attraction. He shared deep knowledge about Whales and his experience in marine biology in a very captivating manner.We will be back for sure! Highly recommend the sunset tour.

Brilliant tour. Our boat was run by Rod, Tom. Gabby, and Chrystelle.We spent the majority of our time with Chrystelle who was very knowledgeable, approachable, and responsive. Almost anything we asked she knew the answer to and was able to present everything in an easy way for everyone to understand no matter what age (we had ages 1-70 on board).They helped us see multiple humpback whales and explained some of their patterns & behaviours. They were even able to tell us the specific names for a few, and one (Scratchy) came up right alongside the boat!The main focus of the ride was humpback whales but we also got a chance to see a family of Orcas and some seals.We had so much fun! And even if we hadn't seen so many whales it would have been a very fun boat ride. (We were on the catamaran with inside and out areas)

Had a wonderful time on the tour. Our tour guide Derek (and I'm sure the rest of the guides) were very knowledgeable about the animals. My mom and I loved the tour. Strongly suggested for anyone wanting to go on a whale watching tour visiting Victoria.

What a WHALE of a time!We had the privilege of taking a trip out with Eagle Wing Tours, and it did not disappoint! Well, technically it did - as we did not see any whales (on our first outing at least... More on that later), but we were able to explore an incredible variety of marine wildlife native to the area, including bald eagles, sea lions, seals and cormorants. Most of our time was spent out on the deck with crewmate Logan, who was super knowledgeable on all the animals & their habitats, in addition to the conservation efforts that Eagle Wing are supporting.We were then fortunate enough to book on to another tour the very next day for free, due to the whale guarantee that Eagle Wing operates. And this time we were in luck! A pod of orcas graced us with their presence - it was absolutely stunning, and made up for the previous day's blank (not that we would have minded had we been unsuccessful again). This time we spent most time with Izzy and Derek, who again we're super knowledgeable and went the extra mile at every opportunity to make our trip memorable.We cannot recommend booking a trip with Eagle Wing enough - it is an absolute must for any visitor to Victoria! Thank you so much - it has been the highlight of our trip to Canada so far!

We bought the open boat it’s really an unforgettable experience. At the end we able to see the orcas in motion. But to be honest in May it’s better to ride in boat with covered because it’s super windy and chilling. They provide you with pants and jackets which it helps a bit. Whole tour is around 3-4 hours so if you’re sick on boat I recommend ride in covered boat which is little cheaper too. If you want thrill experience and more contact with the tour guide the open boat is good option because only around 10-12 person is onboard so each person can get well care of.

Pretty much the best day.The boat ride alone was worth the trip... And yes whales!!! Seals and tons of other sights.My wife and I were very happy with the service and crew.. we will go again!

We really hoofed it off our ship and they were able to get us on an earlier tour, thankfully! The earlier tour opened up our afternoon but we also saw a lot of wildlife and an orca almost immediately! Everyone was so amazing and helpful. Friendly! It was super cold so we took refuge inside when we were moving but they called us out when there was activity. We found a mama humpback and her new calf. I couldn't believe it! We had so much fun would do again if we were in the area.
