At the outset to take your attention from the product which, I purchasing, I want to give an excellent comendation to the salesman at R.E. MacDonald Stoves & Stones Ltd. The salesman's name is Brad Kruse. My wife and I were welcomed into their show room immediately as we entered. Brad very definitively explained the properties of the product shown in the photo below. We are very excited to soon have it installed.

Everyone at RE Macdonald was so helpful with the renovation of our fireplace. We went from an outdated mantle and hearth to floor to ceiling rock and new gas insert. Jason’s help with the rock and the design made the vision I had for the fireplace come true. We love our new fireplace!!

I have to praise the incredible service of this company. I have an unconventional fridge and stove purchased for a house built in 1912. The Elmira products that I purchased were perfect for my needs but the company that makes these in Ontario did not support their products. The fridge arrived damaged and the stove warming door didn’t close properly. RE MacDonald, at their own expense, found me a replacement fridge and came to my home twice (the owner no less!) to make adjustments to stove, put the special order fridge doors on my replacement and made every effort to make sure I was happy. I would happily buy from RE MacDonald again because they did not fob off the responsibility the manufacturer should have taken. Thank you so much for caring about service!

From my initial contact and visit by Brad, who gave me excellent advice regarding my choice of fireplace, through dealing with Monique in the office, to the final installation by Jarrett and Cathy. They were very professional, but also friendly and left everything spotless after taking time to thoroughly test and explain all the controls.I would totally recommend this company
