Geek Squad

Long lineup, and they don't repair PS4's. Had to steal a chair because I rely on a cane to stand and walk. When I was eventually helped, they helped me find a place to get my PS4 fixed.

If you call customer service omg such a poor service and I called geek squad to extend the date of delivery and they cancelled it instead. Then I called again and they said I have to go into the store to redo it. Dont even talk to customer service either they wont be able to help or mess up. Geek squad needs to improve on customer care. Hopefully someone is reviewing these messages. If we dont see a reply we can assume top to bottom geek squad approach which is THEY DONT CARE.

Made my ship wreck into a ship yard in record time... have no words to say how greatful I am. Called on the squad years ago was stunned then even more stunned now... just wow thanks for making me too happy again.

Went to pickup a floor model laptop that my Mother had purchased, it was being setup through Geek Squad. I was told it was ready for pickup, came in, the security tag was still on it and needed to be processed. I waited, and waited, and waited a bit more. The man that brought the laptop back to the counter, had scratched the top of my mother's laptop in the space that had held the security tag, as instead of being a safe release tag of any kind, it had to be pried off with a scraping tool. And after all of this, it was covered with dust visibly showing that nobody had even bothered to clean it. I'm furious.

Somvir did an amazing job at fixing my computer! He installed new components and now my laptop runs better then when I bought it. He helped me understand what was happening and what he was doing even though I am bad with technology! Highly recommend asking for him!

I would give 0 if i could. I bought a protection plan from them for iphone X . They flat out lied to me saying i will get 2 FREE accidental damage coverage. I just found out while filing a claim that there's a service fee of $200. I asked repeatedly to best buy if there was a fee for claim. I was told there wasn't any. Geek squad is just a scam. Nothing more.

Thank you Troy from the Geek Squad!!!! This guy is an absolute wizard. I first started with an Best Buy employee and I will say they didn’t care, the employee was rude when I asked for help.. (I was told it’s because they are busy) but I was lucky to get help from Troy and I got so much help and advice. I truly would recommend this gentlemen for your electronic needs (helped me with home theatre surround sound) now I’m so happy mine is working! I would say employee of the month! He gave me many solutions and was very persistent to help me fix my problem. Thank you again! Yay (:

Stay away from any extended warranty programs, I was charged $20 after I got some electronics from Best Buy, Noticed I’m being charged every month for a service I never used, called to cancel and one year later I still get charged and refund refused, Scammers so be careful when you get extended warranty. Asked for a manager to call me and still waiting

Terrible place avoid or use extreme caution. They tell you that when you buy the warranty you get 50% off any repairs needed to any other computers that you own so I went to take them up on that and fix a laptop glass screen and was told that is a hardware issue which makes no sense how glass is hardware but anyways that it would only cover 20% of the repair and on top of it they had to ship it to Vancouver for $100 diagnostic fee I don't know what you need to diagnose on a broken computer glass but just seems like they're trying to take you for every penny they can. Called to cancel the warranty I was informed that's another $120 to cancel they will do whatever they can to take you for every dime you have. The associates behind The geek squad counter are very unknowledgeable and not very customer service friendly I don't know if it's just a lack of training on Best buy's part but I think they need to spend more time training these people to do their jobs correctly. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else I personally will not be spending another penny in any Best Buy ever.

Geek squad was great, My kids done for there online school, No need this time, If i need in the future i will choose geek squad, Its helpful for me.
