Tony, Travis and team did a fantastic job at our apartment. Our AC was down for about a month with temperatures in our 2nd/3rd floor apartment soaring up to 35C making it difficult for us and our pets. Our landlord didn't want to replace our 30 year old HVAC system due to it being a furnace as well, and so the SAR Gas team were able to retro fit a new AC unit into it giving us all some much needed relief! They were extremely fast at responding and getting the parts needed and really went above and beyond. We highly recommend them.

What's good: they are quick to respond, and quick to dispatch.What's not good: the unfprofessional anti-masking attitude whilst in a clients home.We needed our furnace and radiators looked at, and the person was dispatched quickly.When making the call, my husband stated clearly that because I'm immunocompromised, we need the person to wear a mask at all times when in our house.The person wore a mask upon entering, but then wore it below their nose.I had to ask him repeatedly to pull it up over his nose. Next thing you know, the mask was completely off.I had to leave my own home and stay outside on the porch, in.the.cold, because of this behaviour.I had to engage in an argument, put my foot down and insist.He finally did put his mask back on, and the reason why this is not a 1-star review is due to the fact that we then had a conversation about why we need the mask to be worn, ie:I had to reiterate I have an autoimmune condition, I had to explain that the medication I'm on suppresses my immune system (think of it kinda like being on chemo), and that yes, I had Covid in 2020, was sick for 4 months, bed-ridden, and that my husband had to take care of me morning noon and night, that he's a labourer and we can't afford that, that I had bands of collapsed lung, and that my specialist has warned me against flu/RSV/Covid because due to the drug I could die. THEN it seems that he had some understanding.However: personal opinions regarding masking should not come into play when you're going to a home, this is unprofessional.The client should not have to argue, put their foot down, leave their own home and stay outside on their porch in the cold, and have to explain all.of.this.Unfortunately unprofessional, thus the 3 star rating.
