Riverview Animal Health Centre

Riverview animal hospital recently performed a tplo surgery on my baby girl. They were kind, caring and willing to update me the 1 million times I called to check on her. They were thorough with instruction and medication. I felt very well supported and was confident to leave my baby in their hands.

We brought our Westie in as a result of him getting hit by a car. From the moment we walked in , we and he were treated with kindness and compassion. Our entire experience was comforting as everyone was able to answer our questions and help him. We’re hoping for a quick recovery!

I brought my Berner, Sam for an X-Ray, and an emergency operation was performed to extract an object from his stomach. The veterinarian took the time to call me several times to update me. I also called several times to speak to staff and they were always friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I trusted the veterinarian and I knew Sam was in good hands. They even provided me with a chart for his medication which is very helpful. I felt they went above and beyond, and that they were awesome. Thank you Riverview Animal Hospital for taking care of my beautiful Sam.

Absolutely appalled! My daughter had to bring in her 21 year old fur baby cat to be euthanized, they charged $198 for an exam ( not necessary) he was 21 and sick….When I questioned the charge? I was told that by law they have to do an exam . No, actually you don’t as I’ve spoken with my vet and a few others. When I told the receptionist this, she than changed to , well it’s our policy…I’m sorry but this obviously is a gouge and prey on people in an extremely emotional state .So an exam for $198.Euthanize $182.Cremation $171.Grand total $633….. the poor little darlin was less than 6 lbs…Places like this are the reason I will no longer have pets.

The team at the Riverview Veterinary Hospital is incredible. Everyone from the intake team, vet technicians and veterinarians and friendly, kind and helpful. I’m so grateful for the amazing care they provided to my yellow lab Olive and for the kindness and support they provided me. Unfortunately we’ve had more than emergency and I love that they are available 24/7, and provide consistent, professional advice and care.

Riverview Animal Hospital is amazing! They put us at great ease when we had to bring our new puppy for emergency treatment while we were visiting family for Easter weekend from Nova Scotia. We are first time puppy owners and were very upset to know our little “Goose” was not well and the team was fantastic! Tending to him right away and alleviating all our fears. The facilities are top notch, very impressive! Thank you for taking care of our baby! ❤️

I brought my cat Meatball in for an acute illness. The person I spoke to on the phone was very calm and reassuring. The staff who saw Meatball were caring and communicated with me throughout our visit. Dr. Mercier explained everything clearly, offered options and her opinion which I much appreciated. The price was very reasonable. Thank you for your service of providing excellent emergency care to our pets in times of need :)

Over the years I have always turned to Riverview Animal Hospital when I have been in need for my precious Labradors. They have always come through with great on the spot care. If your animal is in need it can't go to a more expert place for help.

Who provided a very detailed outline of the TPLO surgery for our 9 year old Labrador Rascal" and most importantly as with all animal lovers conveyed his message with such kindness

Our boy was showing signs of bloat, we rushed him to the Riverview Animal Hospital. From the front desk, the vet tech and the vet, they were fast and efficient. They saved Cooper’s life. His stomach had twisted and needed emergency surgery. Pre-op and post-op care was excellent. They gave the best care and called to provide updates often.
