Good selection of good quality sporting gear. More expensive than some other options, but you're paying for quality. My biggest issue is the lack of large sized women's shoes.

Not all Sport Chek locations are alike…Not much variety at this location and this location closes too early. Closing at 6pm on weekdays is ridiculous! Never heard of this before… Most other locations close at 8pm or 9pm on weekdays.

I felt very uncomfortable purchasing a pair of trainers because the sales lady got me the shoes and after I said thank you so I can try them on. She just hovered beside me and waited . I told her again ok thank you I will think about it . And she didn’t budge . So I just started to walk away with the shoes on hand to have a moment to think about it. That’s when she FINALLY spoke to me and said have a nice day. After purchasing them I can actually try them in my own house and see how I really feel about these shoes without having someone watching me like a hawk. Thanks for the awkward experience Sportchek :S

The staff are lazy and completely uninterested in doing their jobs. I went to buy a couple of pairs of shoes, but after standing by the shoes for 5 minutes, with NOBODY in the store, and the staff just standing around talking, I got the message loud and clear. When the store closes, I’m sure it’ll be a shock to them, not to me, I’ll never go in there again, and I encourage everyone else to spend your money elsewhere.

Horribly run. Went in today for snow pants found a pair with a card sign hanging with it that said 49 bucks take it up and no that’s for a different product these pants are 120, well don’t you have people who’s job it is to go around and make sure things are correctly labeled and priced? Then when I say well you may wanna go check your signs the cashier and manager look at me like I’m crazy. And of course they don’t even have anymore of those pants in stock so why is there signage for it? Blows my mind that there isn’t someone in charge of making sure that kind of stuff is in order

The staff was very kind and polite. They were very helpfull. Store was clean and wheelchair accessible. We found all the gear for my son to play ball hockey.

Worse customer service ever. I was there today with my son..looking at the Toronto Maple Leafs jerseys ..I did ask about Soccar jerseys ..I was told there was none..it is out of season but I thought I would ask..we were trying to find a size for my son....Never once did someone ask if we needed help..just standing around talking..the one guy came from behide the counter to fix the basketball..I did ask if they had soccer jerseys in the summer..I was told I can order them online..it would have been nice to know that a bit earlier when I asked..we ended getting a jerseys that helped, without any help..when leaving I had to tell them it was horrible service..they didnt care..all that was said was have a nice day" . I will take my money elsewhere . I hear bad stuff about this sports chek

I went to the store to get skates sharpened. It was 4:45 and it says on the website that it closes at 5. I go up and they’re already shutting the gates to close up. I ask if I could just go and get my skates sharpened real quick. They didn’t even let me do that. Closing early doesn’t look good on businesses.

My wife ordered a pair of shoes online and received an email stating they were ready to be picked up. We went the next day and were told they had already been returned and a refund was pending without actually looking anything up. We double checked the status online and it had changed from “ready to be picked up” to “already picked up”. We asked when we would receive the refund (so we could order them to pick up at a more competent store) and the manager shrugged and told us to call back in a few days if we didn’t see it. Absolute minimal effort on everyone’s part.

I was in today to get a pair of cleats for my son. Was the only customer and there were at least 6 employees. None of them offered help, in fact when I inquired about cleats they did not show any interest and provide required information. Terrible customer service. I won't be surprised if this place shuts down with such poor running.
