This place was not very great at all , First of all let me tell you if your a person of color then mark my words they will treat you based on that .

I have been dealing with Scotia Bank since I opened an account around the year 2000. I have been at several different Branches but the Branch on Broadway and Carlton is the dynamite. Most of the customer service employees know me by name and talk to me like a friend. It was always a bit like that but I think there was a huge shift in customer care when the current Customer Experience Lead took charge. I have been engaged in major re-construction of my cottage on lake of the woods. That's 300 km's from Winnipeg. The banking staff went to great effort to ensure my contractor was kept current with money I sent when I was in the Dominican for a few months. I am not sure how I could have been as prompt and current with payroll had it not been for the extra effort they made to ensure the Contractor wasn't affected by late payments. Perry Marquis

Worst bank ever. Fees way too high. A fee to close my accounts hahah. I’ll never do business with them again and warn family and friends to stay away

I'm sure the staff is fine but multiple times I've gone out of my way to stop for cash and the only ATM isnt giving withdrawals for no given reason. Its extremely inconvenient and I'm now seriously considering changing banks with how often it occurs.

I gave 4 stars just because Grace is the problem at this location; power abuser woman, attention seeker, jealousy. The young lady thats sit towards the window she should be the next manager i am voting!!.

I switched to Scotiabank because it's just down the street from me, Now I don't want to bank with anyone else! The person with whom I met to open my account was very respectful of my gender Identity, AND came in on his day off to get my accounts set up because it was the only day I was free! The teller's have always been very polite, accomodating and just a general pleasure to interact with, I've never had such an amazing experience banking, with CIBC, TD or BMO, They treated me like an annoyance. I didn't know it was even a thing to not dread going to the bank!!

Very nice bank. the guy at the counter gave me change that I asked for. it's a big deal coz I visited every other bank In downtown and they wouldn't hand me a change for $10. This bank helped. so nice of them.

I really like the staff of this branch. All the tellers are so helpful. I was served by Gel Ardio, She is very professional and go above and beyond to help you. Go Awesome Gel :)
