The service is fast, efficient and professional. Their systems are great and I was kept informed throughout. A little on the pricey side but maybe that goes with the great service. A little frustrated that my TPMS was reset twice by them and still isn’t functioning - but I haven’t given up on them for that yet. The same problem happened at the Toyota dealers in Castlegar and Cranbrook so isn’t unique to them.

Absolutely nothing less than incredible service. I live in Kelowna and would drive to Nelson just to have these guys work on my vehicle. Doug was great to deal with and his tech did an amazing job with his inspection, extremely thorough. Very helpful to use these guys when purchasing a vehicle when you live out of town. Trustworthy and honest.

Downtown Automotive's approach to transparency really won me over. The diagnostic analyse and repair recommendations are recorded in a way that allow me to make educated repair/maintenance decisions about my vehicle. For someone who is not very vehicle savvy, they took the time to explain what was happening and provided photos for me to review. They also provide excellent engine shampoo services. My truck is now feeling pretty inside and out. Thanks team!

I brought the company vehicle in for service at Downtown Automotive and was blown away by the high level of service! They made the whole process easy and uncomplicated. They were very thorough as well. I also appreciated the consistent level of communication through text and phone calls. I knew what was happening at all times. A friend suggested Downtown Automotive as possible choice for a vehicle inspection for BC plates and I'm very glad he did. From the moment I entered the building and dropped off the keys with Tom I felt this might be different than the previous shops I've dealt with over the years. I received an update via text within an hour of dropping it off, a call shortly after that to discuss what was found and request an 'OK' to continue. Details of repairs were provided along with the ongoing costs - no surprises - how very refreshing! The technician (Doug) did a great job and Tom was amazing. Very professional and very friendly! Really saved us when we had a tire issue 12 hours before we had to make an 8 hour drive! Would 100% recommend. Very genuine people.

I have never experienced service like this! Every step of the way was communicated clearly so I knew exactly what was happening with the repairs of my vehicle. When I picked up my car, I was led step by step through what had been done and was given a great explanation in terms that I could understand. I was made aware of what will need to be done in the future which I found really helpful. I was assisted through the entire process by Mike and he was incredible! I truly don’t know if I have ever received such top notch service. A big thank you to Mike and everyone at Downtown Automotive!!
