RBC Royal Bank

Haven't had the best experience here. One of the managers here gave me a hard time with a cheque. Wasn't really that nice either. They have so few tellers open during the weekdays too. When it's end of the month and people get paid and there are a lot of people coming into the bank, I don't think having less 3 tellers really helps. Idk, not a wonderful experience here.

Worst place to apply for a credit card especially with the financial advisor named Robert Posliff. My husband and I already waited for one and a half month for his credit card to arrive but when we called them and asked an update, we were shocked to know that it was not finalized even though the advisor assured us that everything was okay already. I asked so many times for help with their customer service on the phone to know what’s happening and why its still not yet finalized but we’ve never receive decent reply. So if you want a fast and reliable service, don’t go to this branch. I am surprise that this issue has not reach their branch manager yet nor we are not contacted back. Ridiculous.

Have had wonderful service at this branch. The staff have been friendly and welcoming which makes it a nice environment. The only thing I wish is that they had a couple extra people working at the front end during busy periods.

Went to the bank to clear up some issues, I was talking to the teller and she wanted to ask the manager something so she called her over, the manager started yelling at us with out knowing what was going on. She told us to close our accounts if we’re not happy. Absolutely awful, went in to talk to an advisor on a different occasion he told my wife that in muslim families women don’t do anything and don’t hold a credit card or anything so he would just deal with me instead, we actually went in to discuss her savings and such . I’m just shocked at how these people are allowed to work there and who puts them there, is there like no selection process? Just awful awful service.

I was at the RBC- Southgate Branch today to get a draft prepared. The lady who helped me was very kind and polite. I do not recall her full name but her name starts with the letter V as per my knowledge and she wore specs. The best customer service she offered I could say.

Could not certify a cheque today for some technical reason. Now 3 people go without pay for the weekend.Could not be bothered to.update their hours on Google listings.

Bad customer service so far. I went in to activate my account with them and the teller who helped me was evidently very inexperienced. The whole process took about 40 minutes just to assign me a temporary card and pin number (not counting the time spent waiting in line). The supervisor had to come help her three times and most of what she was doing was looking busy while waiting for help. I tried to set up my online account today and found out that they hadn't finished the process properly and that I would have to go in AGAIN. I was mostly okay with the fact that she was inexperienced - we've all been there. But the fact they couldn't get this done properly even with the supervisor leaves me disappointed. I wasted my time going in and might have to waste more time going in again.

I had a great time with the client advisor Dora. She was amazing and really wants to help customers out. I have never had such a nice advisor who just has people's best interests at heart

I visited this RBC branch for a bank draft. A lady called Dora" helped me. She was professional and nice. Not only she issued the draft quickly without any error

First I left a message with my financial advisor to call me. After three days I called back about 5 times and finally got ahold of him. He said he was going to email me important information, which he never did. So if your looking for a bank that does not care about customers or follow thru on their word then join this one.
