Now run city of Detroit and it's a mess no one knows anything. They send you a debt amount and can't tell you what it is for and when you send documents no one receives them.

Customers service lady you know who you are. UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND NEED TO QUIT IF YOU NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR JOB.

THEY MESSED UP MY W2'S NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 16 WEEKS TO GET MY IRS REFUND

My taxes under pending review, expectancy completion date has past four weeks ago. What’s the update MI STATE? Sad!

It takes them 2 days to return a call, so I emailed them and it took 5 days for them to respond. I get a call and the first thing the lady says with an attitude is, What part of the email don't you understand." I explained that I didn't know I had to file City tax because I'm not from here and instead helping me out she just blamed me and said if you filed your taxes the we wouldn't be having this conversation. This is your job

After calling in and going through a lengthy verification process to ask where my refund is that was pending review past its completion date.... I was told the treasury department wants to see a copy of my photo I.D. to make sure its me.... when asked why no one ever called, I was told they can't handle the 10,000 letters and calls they would have to make. That's reassuring, so you intentionally over burden your work load but I'm supposed to mail in a copy of an ID from this State (#2 in human trafficking) on top of the already overwhelming number of letters they can't handle... talk about developmentally disabled. Since when does the treasury department oversee identity theft? I was also reassured I would be getting interest ontop of my refund, I hope they add penalty fees they would charge me if I owed. I also hope they are patient, like them, I may need 60 days to process if I even send in their request that I am not legally required to follow. And after that, I'm not responsible for what happens to the mail after it leaves my home.

Bad department

Terrible service, not exactly the employees fault. What’s the point of having customer service available if they can’t help with anything. I filed my 2021 taxes mid February, it was held because of an assessment that was supposed to be complete 5/16/22. Still nothing. It’s not right to hold peoples money at a time like this when people are struggling to pay bills. That money could really help me right now and they can’t even answer when anything will happen.why hold so many peoples taxes if you don’t have the staff to complete assessments I’m a timely manner. It’s been 3 months now, they claim that is the max wait time and I’m still waiting.
